  • A friend gave this Native American Indian rock artifact to me after I found it in his back yard it was part of his landscaping so I gave him a much nicer Indian rock artifact that I found in a wash that ran next to a very busy road with all the construction that took place I was surprised nobody saw it and or how it survived with out being damaged.
All my artifacts are now for sale if your interested contact me trough my email listed on here.

That is a halfed maul. Used like a modern sledgehammer.

It does look like it was used as tool for smashing softer rocks and big logs up into smaller logs etc.....

That is just a rock.,but all rocks could be used as tools.

Well of coarse all rocks are rocks until someone from the past modifies it for use as a tool and now in many cases these rocks are showing up as a abstract art form and because of that they all become Artifacts.

I have and it can be used that way, But for me I have small hands it would take practice to be able to use it in that way as a tool.

If it is a halfed tool, say horticultural hoe- spade. Farming implies modern agriculture.

Yes that's understandable but most people now a days don't understand the true words to describe it so I try to be on their level.

    Are you of Indigenous decent?

That's funny that you asked that because for almost all my life my mother told me I was part Cherokee Indian but I recently had a DNA test and it came back that I don't have any Indian in me but instead I am European decent which to me explains a lot about who I am.

Gratz on the views on this one. Unrecognizable at first the art of ancient people was written on stones. 90% of the human history was spent in the Stone Age. Understanding that you may not be able to see the images, the community here on TH-cam provides the evidence needed. It is not a skill-rather an expectation. Nearly every single loose stone was carried in… there’s no other explanation.

I am also very surprised at all the views on this artifact.
I myself thought I had much better artifacts that I thought would have generated more views but no. Maybe it's my wording that's played a role in getting all the views it's very strange.

The view's keep going and going what is it about this artifact that's been causing it to get so much attention.
