Love catching bait. I throw my net the other day and got about 40 shad in 1 cast. Blew me away. Small and large, got about 10 that were about a pound. Made my summer!! Good video.
Love your videos Mark. I use sabiki rigs for skipjacks in the tail waters of a dam. In stead of a sinker, I use a 3 oz wooden egg float - I don’t have to worry about snags. I’ve filled all six hooks with skippies in one cast dragging it across the surface.
Mornin Y’all! That was fun and informative. I’m interested to see if that bait rig will work near the old ferry landing in West Feliciana. I know the white bass are there but slickers(skipjacks) I’m not to sure about. Thanks M.Hood!
Just recently started watching you and lovin the content I’ve tried a few baits you use up here in Illinois caught my first blue cat with one of your rigs keep on keepin on boss
I'd release the ladyfish. They're fun little gamefish. Poor man's tarpon. When I saw skipjack in the title, I immediately thought tuna 😂. Fun video Mark. Hope you are doing well.
I recently saw this special Sabiki Rod Combo at Walmart that I been thinking about getting. It's designed to reel the whole rig inside the hollow rod and protect you from getting hooked when you are storing it.
Great catching bait.the skipjack were really biting. Time to catfish

We need a heads up catfish king bait comparison video. 3 rods. Bluegill vs mullet, vs skipjack.
I love using Sabiki in Florida for bait.
Cool catch, hope they payoff
How do you freeze bait do you vaccum seal?
Could totally catch sac-a-lait with one of those under a cork or tight line!
Tennessee Tarpon!!!
Skipjack is the all time best bait no ?
I think live bait is the best bait you can have that's just my opinion.....
