Thank you Sea-Money for providing me with plenty of entertainment while I'm stuck in bed with the plague that's going around! It's a beautiful, rare overcast day out here in AZ, and I wish I was out fishing, but catching up on your awesome videos I've been slacking on viewing the past few months is a good second.
That's awesome. Nothing like a new spot with no one around and to nail them. I gotta move closer to the shore. Keep posting 'em. I'm living thru you for the time being.
the answer to the questions a) where is this, it is in new york. b) I have pliers I forget to bring them with me sometimes c) the mortality rate is high on these fish, if I throw it back and it dies it will get eaten by a seal or crabs and thats better than me eating it, because they are not good to eat. these are mainly a bait fish in the south and sport fish in the north, generally considered inedible by most, yes you can eat them and yes they might be good if cared for and cooked just right but I am on a beach fishing for hours, not trying to prep sushi, im just trying to have fun. most fish that end up in your grocery store or dinner plate are killed the exact same way, by suffocating, except on a much larger scale where thousands are killed at a time, and in the process generally hundreds if not thousands more of different species are caught as bycatch and thrown back dead. this includes dolphins, turtles, sharks and even your beloved stingrays. channel your anger to gross overfishing operations like omega protein or poachers who set miles of nets or commercial fishermen who drag miles of illegal dragging zones
Here in Hawaii we call them Kawakawa and they never come in this close we have to go at least 50ft of water I'm tripping out watching you catch them this close to shore your a luckiest guy on that day
I haven't seen them that close anywhere I've been and in Florida we catch them in 100's of feet of water jigging sometimes. Must be a ton of fun in foot deep water when theyve only got one way to go!
Wow! Love this flick. Turbo charged tuna! They fight beautifully and love the way they smash the lure off the surface. Top fishing and thank you for sharing.
I love your videos. and I like people like you that push the people to fish and explore new places but it would be good to share those places to go some
Love finding them new spots with productivity! I will never catch one here in the Gulf of Mexico. Particularly in south Texas nearby Galveston, Tx shoreline and abouts. But they are beautiful to see you catching them where you are. Beautiful colors on them fish! I noticed that their mouths resembles the small chads. Interesting! Tight lines and safety always! :)
When you catch a fish, hook ur lure to the tail fin ,that part of the tail fin skin rips easily. So hook ur lure on it, let it swim away and when it almost spools you lock ur rod and it will come lose from The fish.Giving you over 100 yrds of casting distance.
Love your videos man, don't get discouraged over other people's unsolicited comments and opinions. The world is full of haters and naysayers let 'em hate and say what they want. Keep your head up, keep filming and fishing. See you on the bank someday bro... 🎣
In Hawai’i, we call those “Kawakawa”(s), but they’re commonly in the deep blue, and they have a darker blue color on the top. Very strong iron tasting fish, fun to catch though and extremely abundant.
Hi from Australia I enjoy your videos What you call Albies we here in Australia call them Mack Tuna and your Blue fish are Taylor .The Taylor are good eating but the Mack Tuna are mainly used as bate
That stuff just happened to be in the car.picked up a couple 5 gal buckets & a big steam pot that fit in buckets perfectly+ few other items at a yard sale .had a new rig pocket full of cash & nowhere to be. Best trip ever.highly recommend that anyone single,no children with some time do sthn along those lines.thank me later.I feel another one coming on...next fall .just me & 8 yr old daughter.yup.doing it. THE END.( Sorry.broght back memories)thx.L8r
Sweeeet..love those type spots & conditions.came through your area a few years back .on a whim started aimlessly cruising& camping up the coast late September -early october.didn't see any or fish any spots like that around that area.put more effort into it & found some great spots & results S & N of where I think you are in this video.didn't know y'all had it like that around there to tell you the truth.that Mr.Skinner feller fishes some nice secluded spots that look similar to that one .some are pebble covered beaches and just as peaceful if not more. That trip was 21 days round trip.got fed up with a job in Charleston SC & after working a 2 minute notice wound up somewhere in Northern Maine.got cold& had some light snow so figured it was time to do a U turn.solo ,totally spontaneous trip .it just happened.had a civic hatchback with a tent ,cooler,a new set up....7.5" M\L,GLoomis 1pc w a small finnor & a few cloths.
Did you notice any significant improvement with the Microwave guides? I build my own rods and looking for input on them before pulling the trigger on somne.
False albacore = Bonito? I got excited and thought you were catching Longfin from the shore. Good success, you should get a tady surface iron jig and you will slay it, its more a west coast thing (tady, salas) but the surface irons they make can't be beat. I have caught hundreds of bonitio on those jigs. Good job whats your largest bonito. I got a 9.5 lbr fly lining a sardine. Good video keep it up.
Dude people pay hundreds of dollars to go deep sea fishing for this kind of fish and you're catching them on the beach for free and just releasing wow🎣
Holy cow those things are faster than I had ever imagined! That looks like an awesome place to fish, I've never been able to fish for those guys before, it looks super fun.
You look like the same dude I saw on another post fishing the niagra river rapids. I'm a muskie fisherman in Ohio. I love your vids man. I gotta post some I have. We should hook up on facebook at the least. I do the same kind of "extreme" shore fishing. I usually hit spillways in NE Ohio. I envy the places you have to choose from.
Albie #1 wouldve bled out not long after it was released... Im not tree hugger, but it couldve at least been kept for bait or burley... Im all for catch and release, but theres no point in release if the animals about to die from the catch...
Thank you Sea-Money for providing me with plenty of entertainment while I'm stuck in bed with the plague that's going around! Love when any apprehension about trying a new spot goes away with a successful day. Well done dude
That's awesome. Nothing like a new spot with no one around and to nail them. I gotta move closer to the shore. Keep posting 'em. I'm living thru you for the time being.
tcsadt my exact thoughts. These videos get me through life.

Not good to eat? They are very good to eat.
My Dad said fish don't feel pain.
Where in NY? You are totally giving me a good reason to start doing more beach fishing.
MrRaggamuffin75 how do you eat them sashimi or cooked ?
“It’s so big!”
“It’s bigger than what?”
“It’s bigger than a foot!”
I never caught a tuna before. Well done.
Very nice Albie. It looks amazing catching them in such clear water from the beach.

Hector Coria there are tons of bonitas blackfin and yellowfin offshore on the rigs.
Beautiful fish and such powerful swimmer. They look like vibrant living torpedos.

Great video, dude. Nice fish! Gotta love shore albies!
Man... I miss this.. early morning drive a lil fog on the beach, quiet but wave hitting the shore.. and most importantly rod bending when u cast out
Wish I was fishing with this guy. He catches everything.
Fun!!! Looks like a little torpedo swimming away after released
How much fun is that! Awesome video.
I’ve never seen a beach as calm as the one your fishing
Awesome video! You were slaying em. I wish we had shore fishing like this in California.
Love your videos man, don't get discouraged over other people's unsolicited comments and opinions. The world is full of haters and naysayers let 'em hate and say what they want. Keep your head up, keep filming and fishing. See you on the bank someday bro... 🎣

Nice day and awesome way to break in a new spot! Congrats on the beast. 👍🎣
Did you notice any significant improvement with the Microwave guides? I build my own rods and looking for input on them before pulling the trigger on somne.
You ass-cracked me up with that "ass-crack-o'-dawn" comment, Mr. Fisherman 😂
Great vid. Nice catching. Good fish handling.

Rafael Cuevas I am thinking the same thing about.. Lool
Rafael Cuevas if you keep the pressure on you don’t need a barb on your hook and the live release is so much better for the fish try it
He is releasing them cause they taste like shit and you can scull drag them in on 1000 size reels
Rafael Cuevas bonito taste like crap did you see all that overly ironed warm blood spilling out on that first fish.
xicor 👈Trump voter.
Barbless and siawash hooks help a lot. Great vid.
Awesome Albie action man, Rankin Fishing here, wasn't able to get on the albies this year but glad someone is!
awesome looking fish - like baby Tuna!
Nice move and smart man .. nice fish!
they look super fun to catch
Incredible fishing. I would love to live somewhere I could do this. Beats dam carp fishing in the cold
Lovely video mate. Keep rolling 👍🎣🎣
looks like the vineyard or maybe further west. maybe NJ ? barefeet in October in the Islands would be a bit chilly
I'm a bank fishing dude too. Love the videos . You keep on keeping on bro.
We call these mac-tuna in Australia, a real blood red flesh not good to eat. Best live bate for giant blue fin, lots of fun on light gear.
So dam fun. Beach to yourself and fish. The best
Great video good fish.Keep on going!

I agree with John Doe. If we have fish that bleed that much we keep them cause it probably won't live

Great vid mate 👌👌👌
Good albies! Catch and release.
i live in pcb, fl. common sight and fun as hell. enjoyed the video
What region were you fishing? We NEVER see Bonita in that close along East Texas/Gulf Coast. Bonita is shark candy! ; )
Awesome video man
That's a nice rod and reel combo
A pair of unhooking pliers wouldn't go a miss? Also get a unhooking mat and barbless hooks if catch and return only.
Nice fishing!
very pretty and cool fish
Great action... if an Albie Snack can catch a ten pounder... a 9" Slugo should catch a 20+... at least in theory
Looks like the LI sound. Thanks for sharing & Happy New Year
Thats looks amazing!
Im from scotland watch your videos all the time good fisherman👏

Can you false albi .Breaks my heart when you throw them back .first catch I throw back .the rest is dinner..lol great video.

Beautiful fish
They look like a smaller version of the Bonita we get down here in FL
Can't believe you're catching albacore from shore! Gorgeous fish.
Great video. Can you tell me the ounce size of the Hogy Epoxy JIg you are using? Thanks
Isn't there an option to turn off wind noise is the settings? I think the wind trips the sound to turn off if you don't change the settings.
This is awesome. Never seen anything like it. Same with your last vid too
Great Video man
that fish is so fast, for a second it looks like speedup when they swim away.
Love the seclusion here!
Fantastic fishing... I envy you.
Omg man that's a perfect spot
I'm going up to New York at the end of the month what should I fish for looking for anything around 3-40 pound fish thanks

It's not like he threw trash in the ocean, that albie will make a nice shark snack.
nice albie.. still searching for my first
What is your fishing rod length and weight ? Also, how much does your lure weight ? Thanks.
