I have trouble understanding what you mean because the old mirror covers with that weird bulge makes them look little bit bulky. The new covers here are sleeker/look a lot skinnier and aerodynamic. Not bulky, quite the opposite.
@@scuddy100HYA Yes I received the m3 style mirror covers. I got the gloss black ones. My e90 paint is jet black so It was a perfect match. I received them with no damage, the caps cost me a fraction of the price and finish and gloss is absolutely perfect and the fit was top notch too. The swap was super easy too. I removed the factory ones that had some scratches, cleaned under the caps with a rag and the new ones I just slowly snap them in place. They fit perfectly all the way around and are not loose. The difference in the look is amazing. I'm super happy with them and I'm super picky, so you will not be disappointed. I got the gloss black like I said so for the carbon ones I can't speak on. I paid like 60 bucks on ebay, they came from australia. This was like 4 months ago. Hope that helps.👍
Got a 2010 135i recently and I just want to get rid of the whistling noise😭 still wondering if it's an aero problem or if there's wind getting sucked into the mirror housing and I can just patch it from inside
Looks nice. I bought the ones for my 2011 E82 LCI but for some reason they are not fitting properly. When I align all the clips and it looks perfect to be pushed in so that all clips click it just seems like it won’t go in anymore. It feels like it’s a bit too small. I feel like I’ll break the caps if I push it in harder so that it can snap into place. I bought the caps cuz I saw your video and thought it looked nice. I’m stuck. Nice tho man.
What color is your e90? Jet black or Sapphire? On their site they say ABS. Wish the carbons were available :-(hope the black is good with my Sapphire metallic)
Question for anyone . My car is making the waste gate rattle. Is there a simple easy and not super costly solution ? The sound is annoying haha .. ha..
Nope. Everything is either ineffective or doesn't last short of installing the waste gate upgrades, or replacing turbos. If you're going to pull the turbos... best to just replace the suckers. If you don't mind garbage performance you can set the JB4 menu to keep the default position of the waste gates wide open, the boost lag is really, really bad though.

The LCI and pre LCI have different mirror covers. Sure you got the right ones got your car?

You gotta line up the little gaps on the edges. I mistakenly bent them up and it was easy to pull off until I got these gaps lined up right.
