Ok Matt yeah get it well most of it 🤷🏼♂️ I’ve just turned 64 and been running for donkeys years ( do you say that in America!?) for me now its all about longevity and how can I keep a positive frame of mind to keep running as long as I can as I give into the inevitable body changes that come with age. Routine Rest and Variety have become my base camp over the last 10 years or so and been a major factor in keeping my mojo up there but there’s one thing I can’t change that I’m afraid is a battle that each year is getting harder to fight … winter and winter weather 😢 just hate running in the winter. Can’t stand all the kit , the rain the wind blah blah blah 😒 but come spring 😅 all is forgotten with the winter kit packed away and the summer vest and shorts back in the drawer. I never stop running in the winter because I know I have to, my mental health would suffer if I didn’t but it’s tough. So if you live in a country like mine 🇬🇧 then weather does play its part. Mmmm you didn’t mention that 🤔 Florida ☀️ I wish. Thanks Matt. 👍
🧠 Hi Matt! If it’s Monday, I’m a Type B personality. Other days I’m a mix of the two. When I first began jumping rope I approached it as a Type A and that didn’t serve me well. I need to relax more and train smarter, not frantically. Tense jumping results in a lot of frustration.
🧠I'd say I'm a mix between the two, though I feel I've gotten a bit more Type A as I've gotten older. When I started running I struggled to control my pace and heart rate during easy runs. I also live in a hilly city, which doesn't help with the heart rate. So, I've started doing more of my easy runs on the treadmill. I think it's helped my fitness, helped keep me injury-free, and it gives me a chance to catch up on podcasts and audiobooks. Cheers, Matt!

My blood type is B negative. See what I did there? Sorry, I couldn't resist. Great job, Matt. 🧠
@@MyFatAdaptedLife 😁You have built in negativity.
I’m A positive, so I’ve got no excuse for any negativity. 🤷🏻♂️
