Oh to be in the room. My gaaaaaaaaaawd! Just taught this to my choir at The Historic Saint Agnes Episcopal Church tonight…so darn proud of them!!!
Impressive, same version as I sang back in 1957 grade school. I still remember the words and music perfectly! A favorite. Thank You.
Absolutely stunning!!! The trumpets at 5:13 - are breathtaking - the majesty and grandeur of God.
One of the best performances of this I've heard. The organ was superb.
The organist played far more notes than appear in my copy - respect!
I have not heard this since we sang it in our choir at Sacred Heart Church in Tampa back in the 70's. So glad I found this here.
We just sang it this morning for our church's 150th anniversary. Sounds amazing. Thanks!
Cesar Franck's 150th is in 2022.
Next year, 2022, marks the 200th anniversary of Mr. Franck's birth. Here's hoping I participate in a concert marking this event---maybe I will co-ordinate one myself.
