Hey I would purchase a used but barely used newer one from private owner selling. There’s like a lot of people selling these spinners so I’m looking. Now a company called Yesoul has a nice Peloton knock-off which is very impressive. Nice video
Good tips 👍🏾 I have the plastic weight holders and, not sure if u can do this with the metal holders, I can stack 2 weights on either side. So I have stacked two 1lb weights on left, and two 2lb weights on the right. So when I’m doing the light weight exercises on the bike I have a choice of 2 different weights at easy reach.
This is why I avoid Peloton - I burned through 9 bikes in 3 years and they refunded me my entire original invoice from 2018 last summer. I was a heavy user and the bikes just don't hold up to my usage requirements. Good video - you are very detailed and you should expect this to be better for you considering the price tag and their upscale branding.
I have the bike plus and hear the clicking. Google says the clicking I hear coming from the flywheel axle means the bearings are failing. Calling them tomorrow. I already called about rust only 9 months old and 117 rides. I do get my heart rate up above 90% for half the workout so the bike does get drenched. Do they give you the metal rack just for asking? I made a “Peloton Problems” Facebook group where people can post pictures and share their fixes. Nice tips on reporting problems before you hit 12 months because they will go into full weasel mode.
The bike is poorly made and the plastic is cheap they want you to spend more money on the bike plus witch is made cheaper then the original bike the company doesn’t care about you as a ride they only care about that monthly subscription and that’s the sad part I’ve worked and left for a job that cares for its employees they start losing money they first thing they do it take away from employees and micro manage to the point you don’t want to be there anymore... just a shitty experience for 2 years only statues because the money was good
I think the biggest issue was with the treadmills. A 6 year kid was pulled under the treadmill and died. 😩 The peloton bikes interface issue was giving away all your privacy information if you had a private account. 🤣🤦🏻♀️
I would highly recommend getting that extra warranty. $200 but you definitely get that piece of mind. I'm waiting for the 10th month to get the warranty.
Hi, what other seats do you recommend for the bike? I have the original bike. I have padded bike shorts and I changed the seat out, but it still seems to be uncomfortable.

advice from a bike mechanic, get a used Kinetic Fluid trainer - attach to well fitted bike.

Super smart to do. There are definitely random wear and tear issues on the bike, I am dealing with now.
