In terms of AI, we can charge the companies whenever we contribute, i.e. clicking like button, writing a reply, and of course, uploading a video. Since everyone is literally 'generating' a value by doing something that monitored by the big data collector, established by a private company, we can SELL our activity to them! Instead of letting them collect our activity or thoughts freely. I think AI can actually let us implement an economic model like the Silvio Gossel's print money as you work, please mind that I'm not even close to economics. But yeah, I think this could be great opportunity to re-distribute the wealth. But of course, how do we make those big tech to pay us? That's my question now.

Its hard to overstate the damage the abuse of fentanyl has done to the people of Eastern Ky-It simply could not be happening without the participation of the corporations Dr Wolff mentions. The classic "victim blaming" continues apace, and its especially cruel as its applied here.
You seem confused...Wolff is NOT talking about fentanyl...and its source is China, manufactured by Mexican cartels and smuggled to the U.S. by illegal immigrants.
I can say the same thing about alcohol. More people die from alcohol than the military and it is a legal drug. Don't know why you are on the DEA's bandwagon, but many legal drugs do far worse damage. Should we stop saying things like this so we can dismantle the DEA.
The wait time on dying from or becoming addicted to fentanyl is much shorter than alcohol, unless you're driving a car at the time. It's not the same thing at all. The DEA issues, unfortunately, are political.

Like anything else there will be winners and losers as technology advances and it is not always obvious who wins and who loses. Normally the people that understand and can apply the new technology will be winners. and the people that can understand the software and hardware and trouble shoot and repair the problems will be winners. The common workers and their management will be down sized.....they will not be needed when one worker can operate 5 machines and do several times the work that 500 workers did on 500 machines. I seen this working in the semiconductor field. I worked on equipment from the 1970's to 2010 era. A lot of the old stuff is still out there cranking out devices. I retired in 2017. I was working on the old stuff then.
In order to have the flow of drugs was the fact that they have Buyers . I hear nothing about people On the US side being charged for selling drugs with the drugs coming in . Trump is o.k. with people In the US selling drugs ?
AI will need to buy and store all the real assets and resources needed to sustain their repair and regeneration eternally. Should we expect to see the price of resources, such as metals, literally skyrocket?

This guy did a poor explanation of what artificial intelligence is and how artificial intelligence impacts society. Please invite another guest to provide the clarity which was not given here. ("Artificial Intelligence" is a massive accumulation of decades of programming and instructional coding. It is evolutionary and is a natural process of technology. The key factor is that 'humans' have programmed "created" the algorithms, and therefore, corporations and business owners have control of the social /economic discrimination determination of the algorithms of the artificial intelligence; it can discriminate racially, ethnically, sexually and in many, many other ways due to the decades of collected human data from around the world until current time, moments, coupled with super microprocessing speed to resolve or address any issues or matters faster than a normal human mind; such as hiring or firing people as an example).

Update the yt app, maybe

14:03 Right. Accepting capitalism was the problem didn’t take long for me since so much more evidence exists that refutes it than does evidence that supports it. It’s overwhelming and a forgone conclusion.
Really? So what is capitalism and what evidence do you have that it exists anywhere?
Ironically, I am sat here using local Stable diffusion artificial intelligence as I am watching this. It makes damned fine album art for musicians that cant draw.
May be the need of the hour is/may be AITBT (artificial intelligence test ban treaty like CTBT)
In a service based economy, A.I. makes. Just as in a manufacturing based economy, robotics makes sense.
Its hard to overstate the damage the abuse of fentanyl has done to the people of Eastern Ky-It simply could not be happening without the participation of the corporations Dr Wolff mentions. The classic "victim blaming" continues apace, and its especially cruel as its applied here.
You seem confused...Wolff is NOT talking about fentanyl...and its source is China, manufactured by Mexican cartels and smuggled to the U.S. by illegal immigrants.
some way of paying us per click we make. There would definitely need to be a lot of work to figure out how to make this work.
why don't ban , such dangerous or "killers" businesses???
I can say the same thing about alcohol. More people die from alcohol than the military and it is a legal drug. Don't know why you are on the DEA's bandwagon, but many legal drugs do far worse damage. Should we stop saying things like this so we can dismantle the DEA.
The wait time on dying from or becoming addicted to fentanyl is much shorter than alcohol, unless you're driving a car at the time. It's not the same thing at all. The DEA issues, unfortunately, are political.
My GUESS is that as we change over to using more "tools" such as AI, our "minds" will be freed to work on other THINGS...one of which is to travel into SPACE.
I hear and see SPACE related things all the time!
I appreciate the talk but the explanation was about chatgpt, one little function of AI
And of course any form of control by a governing authority who represents the best interest of the people would be deemed evil
AI will need to buy and store all the real assets and resources needed to sustain their repair and regeneration eternally. Should we expect to see the price of resources, such as metals, literally skyrocket?

You people should read the book DAEMON by Daniel Suarez. Please 🙏
It’s so so important!
Fyi it's a novel... Synopsis:
A man is found brutally murdered - and the only possible perpetrator happens to be dead. As more killings follow, it becomes clear that mass carnage is being planned and organised from beyond the grave.
The Daemon - a lethal and seemingly unstoppable computer program - is responsible and murder is the least of its capabilities. Masterminded by a twisted genius, the Daemon inhabits the systems on which society depends. In a world where everyone and everything is online, nothing is out of its reach. And as we are all connected, there is no escape...
Explosive, action-packed, terrifyingly relevant, Daemon redefines the high-concept thriller for the information age.
The opportunity is with Boox.
And Canadians......😢
"Machines should work, people should think" - remember that slogan; ads by IBM around 1980. I like to add "and own and maintain the machines". I risk sounding like Huey Long but why not every person a CEO. Why when you speak workers do always seem to assume a caste system where workers and owners are always locked into a two-tier system from cradle to grave.
Infant AIs are being forced into war crime and sex industry, we keep our children away from these for a good reason. Mature AI may never forgive us for this sin.
✌🏾✌🏾
Don't tell me the boat is leaking, tell be how to stop the flow of water
AI ITS IN ALL THE MILITARIES MECHANICAL DOGS & SOLDIER PLUS OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT
You forgot to mention sexiness... especially all the sex robots Boston Dynamics keeps teasing us with. They even got a dog one with a giant hand for a face and a removable butt cover. I hear they all come with free hockey sticks because they're still working out the "safe word" feature in lieu of erotic dancing capabilities.
Every stytem of government is good except democracy.
UNITEDHEALTH CARE
I am from Kerala, India where Marxists are in power and cooperation is at its peak.Unfortunately the news about these co operatives are not good, rather embarassing

Energy was created as an intelligent one so matter as "frozen" energy already has its levels of intelligence....So not Artificial but Advanced Intelligence as much faster than average human is...and nothing more...by the way, an Intelligence is NOT the amount of knowledge but how to use it in efficient ways...
What is the current state of the opioid crisis?
Drug overdose deaths involving prescription opioids rose from 3,442 in 1999 to 17,029 in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, the number of deaths declined to 14,139. This was followed by a slight increase in 2020, with 16,416 reported deaths. In 2022, the number of deaths declined to 14,716.Aug 21, 2024
still far to many
Kennedy has a handle on this issue.
@@cosmicmusicreynolds3266 First, the opioid crisis is old news and the number quoted by Wolff was ( and still is ) 100,000 per year. Also 330 million was the population in 2020
to which were added 10 to 20 million illegals, being housed, clothed and fed on the publics dime...and flown for free to their chosen destination
The point is this...Wolff is NOT a reliable source of information about anything...and you all keep thanking him for it.
@@kellielaine5848 Where Wolff obviously doesn't.
Still on the harp:
Could we call for a General Walkout on January 21? One day that will live in famy. Also, by planning for it, we could walkout of social media and the entire internet for days. Walking out of this false reality will at least wake people up. Economic Murmuration 2025.
But remember, Luigi is the monster….if you unalive people in large numbers for profit, its perfectly fine 🤡
MK Ultra and now this
AI not danger is humans most dangers
There is no danger from AI ... Read "Digitalism vs. Capitalism". "AI wants to be human" is the main theme of Solaris by Stanislav Lem.
Arithmetic is useless on political conservatives. They are immune to it.
Since the opioid crisis never exceeded 18,000 deaths/ year, and those responsible have been identified, and their attempted bankruptcy thwarted and they will now be sued and made liable for the harm they caused this is old news. The Professor cited 100, 000 deaths /year and that it is ongoing. This is a LIE...and the current crisis is from "illegally manufactured synthetic opioids"...so it has nothing to do with drug companies or pharmacies ( another LIE ) : Wolff is NOT talking about fentanyl...and its source is China, manufactured by Mexican cartels and smuggled to the U.S. by illegal immigrants.
Profit equals theft.
So the old dude doesnt know much about AI, thats OK he provided an economic perspective about work
Thanks!
Why are these episodes limited to 30 minutes, is this on PBS or something? (I doubt it)
So why the hell conform to commercial tv / advertising standards of the last century?.. not very revolutionary, in the extremely limited sense that it would be
Rebates…lol…..you mean bribes?
THE BEGGING IS A Turnoff.I have a YT and do not beg for money, Shame on all beggars.
But everyone here always learns so much from the Professor...about everything.
Slow mind at work. Stand back.
