  • Now that rabbit season is over, it's time to hit the water. Fortunately, the first Saturday of March was a beautiful day and I got to spend it fishing for wild brown trout in central PA.

Thank you! Your videos kept fishing on my mind while I was busy with other things this winter! I’m glad to be back on the water.

i love the flybrary too! nice fish. unfortunately here in sw pa we don't have any nice wild streams, so we have to rely on the stockers. cheers!

Great browns!!! I have the same pack I love it. But it gets wet too when you fall in as did last week #2 broke!!! Lol. You will love the korkers!! Iv been running them 15 years, never had an issue with the boa system!!! Tight lines!!

Ha! Well I’m sure I’ll get it wet one of these days. Glad to hear the review on BOA. Thanks for watching!

Native brook trout the true native of Pennsylvania!

Absolutely, although I’m not sure why that’s relevant here, but thanks for watching!

@@offthepathoutdoors just don't want people out there to think we have native brown trout!

@@timothyperkins6847 gotcha. I never refer to brown trout as native, but they are absolutely stream bred and wild.

Nice man, at least youre fishing for wild fish instead of following the stocker truck around like all the other bums in PA do.

Nothing wrong with fishing for stocked trout. Especially when you don’t have easy access to them. I have to drive an hour plus to find decent wild trout fishing and that’s not always possible for me or others. I enjoy the challenge and beauty of wild trout, but stocked fish are pretty fun too
