First 2 minutes of this should be Pennsylvania's official 'state commercial'.
    Outrageously well done!

Much thanks for your kind words Brian!! Pennsylvania sure is beautiful and where native brook trout call home is always most stunning. The area in the video is also gorgeous in the winter with the frozen waterfalls and snow covered trees. All the best to you!! 👊

The four month long drought is over. Wild Trout Man is back with an amazing look at the beauty and serenity of this state hidden within the folds of tumultuous times.
The adventure continues with his band of Wild Trout Men.
    Absolutely fantastic.
Great fishing, and video work as always.
And the music is spot on.
You inspire me to get back to work on my own projects.
Long live the Wild Trout Man !!!!👍👍

I love your content. I don’t fly fish, but have the same passion for native brookies here in the Catskills using my small modified spin rod. Keep these videos coming!!

Love that area. Nothing better than fishing in such beautiful environs for wild brookies. I recognized that waterfall right away. Gonna have to get back up there to do some fishing. Have you explored other streams in that area as well?

B Dickinson, yeah just a really beautiful area. I have explored most of the main streams but there still are a number of tribs I need to check out. The fun part is exploring new water and finding wild fish. That is the best!! Thnx for watching 👊

I love this video. I'm an outdoor writer and illustrator based out of Altoona. I've been spin-fishing for most of my life but tomorrow I start my journey with a fly tying class. I caught a couple wild brown trout last year on a blue-wing olive and now i'm "hooked". I also have a major publication asking me to document my journey this year as a "freshman fly angler", so I'm really excited to share my successes and failure. I'm based out of Altoona, PA. Maybe one day our paths will cross.

Michael, that is awesome!! Fly Fishing is an incredible sport. I always say it is a science, art, adventure and zen experience all wrapped up in one. Which publication will you be writing for? My family is originally from Curwensville and I want to get out there and do a Wild Trout Man episode. Yes, it would be nice to cross paths. I’d love to share my enthusiasm and knowledge with catching wild trout and conserving the essential habitat needed for their survival.

@@WildTroutMan I’m not allowed to announce it until next week, but I’ll come back and let you know! Wild trout are such a valuable resource in our world. Gems of the waterways! Do you have a Facebook page? I’m on there. Maybe one day we can connect for some trout fishing!

Ha. My dog and I go there several times a year being close to home. At the headwaters up the rt fork creek there's an old stove that was made in the late 1800s. Remarkable that it's still there and the makers name is on it.
Those creeks surprisingly stays cold even in the hottest days of summer. I hope it stays that way forever and everyone who ventures in practices C&R.

I've fished that stream a lot of times. Very remote.
