I'm a beginner and I love his books. I don't feel intimidated by his art. I just jump in as I figure that I can always buy another book in a few years time and try again. Your pages are stunning!
Stunning pages 🌹I used to do just pencils on his books (I dread) but his backgrounds r so dtld & massive I’ve started using acrylic paints & pastels..seeing your Inktense pages maybe should start them & Neocolor too 😅😂

You do lovely colouring! I'm finally making the plunge and buying Inktense (arriving tomorrow), so it is good to see so many pages that you completed using them. I hear you about finding Kerby's work intimidating... I was terrified of it at first but the paradox is that the lines that are intimidating are actually there to tell you where to shade. Using main mediums I’m loving my Black Widows and Inktense - I can’t wait to colour Medusa with you, it’s one of my favourite pictures outa all Kerbys books, but just not had the confidence to give it ago. Very pretty pages, you are really good with the inktense also, those are definitely a learning process. Finnishing a page in Kerby's books is a challenge, and a real success when there done, because they are so detailed. That's kind of the way I look at it, you have accomplshed quite a bit in those books. 🌝

Your daughter's Pegasus in Mythomorphia looks like a phantom. Gives me and idea for that spread. Well done so for. I was almost finished with Geomorphia (the first Kerby book I colored in) until it fell apart 😥.
I just purchased the Fragile World book. Soooo intimidating but I don't think I can do these pages justice. We're in for a cold, wet winter here in Washington state, so I hope to get to coloring more, and get better at it. I also got the 150 Prismacolor set, so hopefully that will work ok....😩 Thank you for sharing your finished colorings
Oh, you're in Wash.??!! I am from Idaho and lived in Spokane, Wa. for many years!! I have family there and go every summer to visit. Hopefully, when my hubby retires, we will be moving back. I miss it there! Anyway....back to coloring....You will LOVE the Prisma's!!! They are by far my most favorite colored pencils and I almost exclusively use those!! So with that Kerby book, you could check out @mycolorfulcountrylife. She does awesome videos with Kerby books and uses Prismas! I have followed several of her color-alongs over the years and she's awesome! I occasionally do a Kerby page, but only when I'm in the mood for them. They can definitely be intimidating!
