Hello, i am trying to follow along, and i just bought the 96 set of watercolor brush pens, Arteza, and mine don't have color names and the numbers are different, and i have tried contacting arteza and they said that the newer sets dont have names but the codes will match up, well heck match up with what , ? i have tried to speak with them and they won't help, can you help me at all with this please , i just want to get back into coloring again,

Black acrylic paint works too. I learned that from Dede Willingham years ago. She likes it because it’s so quick and pencil works over it very well. So another words if you wanted a glow from a candle or something, you could put yellow pencil on top of the black paint and have it show up brightly. I do like the Tombow in places that don’t have large open spaces to fill.

Ok, I know this may sound like an odd question, but does your Tombow Mono eraser ever get pointed at the tip and hanging on by a thread, like it's misshaped? I don't know if I am explaining this correctly? Probably not. LOL I have an issue while using mine. I think it might be the way I erase or hold it?? I'm not sure? It seems mine doesn't stay flat, it almost gets pointy and I end up having to rip off the tip to get it flat again so it will erase correctly. If it just stayed pointy I wouldn't mind, but it is like the tip is hanging on to the body of the eraser, and I need to tear or cut it off. Might be a "Me" issue, but just thought I would throw that out there and ask. 😆This page came out beautiful! I love the blue - green background with the brown shades. Really nicely done! TFS! 💖

The water based marker + pencil over top works for more than just black too! I've used that method a lot in my Lulu Mayo books, and while it can be harder to mask the streaks with some colors, it works well enough that the final product looks neat! I am more careful and deliberate with my strokes though, trying to not scribble and instead do slow, steady lines in the same direction so I get more even streaks where they do show =P Tho last time I added a darker background I did the opposite, and used the circular motion with the marker, specially cuz it was a very busy page so the bg had no big empty areas, and that worked so well I didn't even add pencil over top!

I haven't been saving you lately because you have been posting out of many different books. The colorings are beautiful, but I can't follow with so many different books. Amazon do a 100 water based marker for 19.99.they are brilliant but need to swatch.

I've wondered about the dColoring between water and alcohol based markers for so long now. I think water-based markers the way to go for me. Hopefully, it will be much less chemical odor and less bleed through coloring. Thanks so very much for the information and demonstration. It was very much appreciated, Jen! I tried to go to your Amazon storefront and your Amazon wish list, but neither link worked. Just wanted to let you know. Good luck.
