Very helpful video! I had to replace the pull cord and pulley, and the spring unwound. I was about to pull out what little hair I have left, when I found your video! Your explanation and demonstration was wonderful and it made a very stressful job very easy! Thank you!
Hello and thank you. a heads up here. You can do this without removing the 2 screws on the lower assy . just carefully lift off top white assy. there re 2 pieces with a spring in between. Slide your cord thru the cover and into the pully. u might need something small to push cord thru to center. tie a knot and put it back together. there is a approx.1 inch diameter wrap spring that goes in between. the tang that is offset and closer to center goes down into the hole. place the upper piece on and reinstall bolt. wrap the cord back on like in this fine explanation. I was back running in 20 minutes. i have a 445 Xcut. Mechanism is the same as in this demo

Alway happy to hear that I helped. Take care
Great video, very informative and thorough. Also, no non-sense and no loud music . Please put on gloves to rewind the spring.
Gloves? Why, I’ve still got a few extra fingers. Just kidding. Good advice

【from HIPA】are you interested in testing my parts for your machines?
You would have to give me more information. Do you need something fixed? are you a manufacturer?
