Out of curiosity, is there a guarantee that you get Ouroboros in your opening hand every time in Act 2? Is it the game just making sure you don't get all one card in your opening hand?
Yeah, Act 2 won't let you brick your hand first turn by drawing four copies of the same card, unless that's the only card in your deck. It also, like Acts 1 & 3, will always draw at least one "side deck" card, like squirrels. So 19 copies of squirrels/skeletons + 1 Ouroboros is a guaranteed FTK.
The sigils offered at the totem event will only offer sigils you've "learned" up to that point (like Leshy has to explain the rule to you after it happens the first time). By that point in the run, you've only seen the 1-Turn Buff sigil and the Flying sigil. So if you sacrifice a Blood Goat before your 2nd death, you guarantee the 3-blood sigil showing up at the totem event. To get a blood goat, you need to get lucky and get one at the backpack event before your 2nd death.
I wonder, why during Act 2 didn't you hammer the Ouroboros one more time right away to make it a 5/5? I know the Skeleton made it enough to kill, but wouldn't it be faster without it? At 4/4, the Ouroboros AND the Skeleton have to attack; wouldn't it be faster if only the Ouroboros was needed? It's less clicks and skips the Skeleton's attack and death animations per battle.
Late reply, but the reason is that during the P03 fight and also the Grimora fight, Ouro gets buffed once. So if it was a 5/5 going into the fight, you'll then have a 6/6, which means you're losing time in future fights watching the overkill animation giving you foil (~4 seconds per fight). I haven't timed it/kept up with new strats, but hammering at the start of the 2nd Leshy phase might save time, in order to save a turn by getting around the mole.

Timing was decided by the moderators, in an attempt to have timing match up with seeded runs. However, it was eventually discovered that seeded runs are impossible, as most RNG is seed-independent. And it's too much effort to try and retime everyone's runs.

I tried to speedrun but someone took my card when i was fighting golly and that just killed the whole run. How do i prevent that?
You have to go into your Windows Firewall and block Inscryption, that way the game can't connect to the internet.

You can't get the magic eye without dying twice; there's a flag set after the 2nd death that spawns the magic eye.
