The Boeing 757 is said to the Ferrari of aircraft, handling turbulence like no other, with such a sleek design! It's like looking at a bird of prey, head on. Too bad it hasn't been given a rebirth like the 747-8i.
I don’t think their would be a way for it to retain anything. It was an aircraft built basically ahead of its time but for its time being overpowered yet can land at even small airports
Basically the result of taking a widebody plane, use it's wings, engines, tailplanes, avionics etc in a narrowbody aircraft, you get a hotrod on wings. It's like putting a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution engine in a Geo Metro haha
@@Sweetteawillie I have a 101hp Swift GTi, and had another Swift with the one litre three cylinder engine, so yeah, I know them well. Needless to say, the 3 cylinder model needed a calendar to measure the time to reach 60 mph, but had the best fuel mileage I ever had in a car, And thanks to a couple mods like fitting a plastic panel under the entire engine bay and GTi hubcaps, 3.5l/100km wasn't hard to reach. It could have been better, if a stupid asshole didn't crash onto and totalled it :-(
The 4 RB211’s on British Airways 747-400’s are just perfection on full throttle for take off. It’s a sound and feeling that will be lost in a few years time.
Its the pneumatic air starter basically it's a small air turbine that receives pressurized air from the apu system that then drives the engine's high pressure turbine section because it's a dual spool engine and the inner turbine has to be spun up to a great speed with proper airflow before ignition the big fanblade in the front and the low pressure turbines spin secondary and catch up to a reduced speed from the inner high pressure turbine which is connected to the starter.
How did Boeing come to abandon this aircraft in favour of the dog old 737?? This aircraft with upgraded engines, integrated winglets, and some integrated composite materials for weight reduction would beat the ass off the A321neo. And i'm an Airbus "fanboy" in case anyone starts calling me a Boeing "fanboy"!!
Yes the sound of RB211-535 is really Beautiful & Superb to her it ❤️❤️❤️
RB211 engine start... I'm in love with those engine sounds! :)

That's funny, you have apparently seen the Geo Metro.

I love Boeing's with Rolls Royce engines, the 757 showed us what that combination was capable of

Love it
The RB211 535 is pushing 70 Million flying hours on the 757
I love at 1:26 how you can see the precise moment of light-off by the increase in heat haze! Great video with great audio.
Infinite flight engine start up brought me here
this is where infinite flight got the boeing 757 startup from i think
Yup absolutely
Great sound, really nice video!
Nice vid! Gotta Luv them RR engines!
I love the sound when the engines aren’t started, it’s a squeaky noise
That's the sound of the Hydraulics

Same startup sound as the Boeing 757-200 in Infinite flight
Best Engine Ever.
The RB211 looks to small on B747...
It suits well to B757 all series 😊
that is amazing!!

Thanks!
Handsome ass plane! Lmao
Thanks! :)
