Those charts that you showed of Samsung and Apple from IDC don't illustrate the real problem for Samsung. Those are not sales, those are shipments. Sales are quoted in money also called revenue and later on one can see profits. The bottom line in the quarter just announced by both Samsung and Apple, Apple made 14 times more profit from iPhones than Samsung made on their mobile sales (Samsungs includes both phones and tablets). Innovation is driven by profits that allow companies to invest in R&D. Apple has massive profits and spent 31 billion on R&D in 2024. Samsung has paltry profits and can't come close to spending as much on R&D as Apple.

Your right about it , Most average users can't but yet Iphone everyone buys. Iphones kind of rivals a bit in performance but no one uses max of it . Worst in Ipads because M chips are laptop grade.
Personally I'd love to play with Elite or 9400 Dimensity ( not games I mean by play )
I kind of am tech enthusiast a bit so I love all these powerful soc. It's a dream come true cause now I finally push them to their limits . Put windows emulation or crank up settings without a care in world.
Even tho these are powerful Soc's Surely they can't perform same as even 9th Gen Intel on chips and or Ryzen 5/7 of similar ( like 2014/2015 )
And these phone graphics might rival older 800-900 nVidia , if so then it should be okay to run older games like Nfs Run , Prototype , Avatar and such on phones , ( well depends on how emulation carries out )
I mean no one is crazy enough to run on phones but if they make nice chips , it is unfair to let those chips rest easy. I really want to try Red Magic 10 for that reason.
Sure they're best gaming phone but I'm aiming to emulate , and check some stuff . Most people won't need that power but if they're selling as gaming phone , i'll treat them same as my laptop.
Wuthering Waves also looks like a nice game . And maybe one day we'll see Phone games that can't run below 8Gen3 , a bummer for most but , we need least 1 of such games in android , that is paid , no microtransaction and only select few flagship/gaming phone can run.

@shiriajin It's because they didn't meet the investment agreement with the government. Also, they didn't meet the requirement for 40% of the materials inside the phone being locally sourced. And with Apple fashion, they asked for 50 YEARS tax exemption which is quite ridiculous as well. As much as I don't agree with my own government at most times, but this sounds reasonable for a ban.
