1/2 ton trucks arent really made for everyday towing. Occasional towing yes. But not everyday. If you want true safety, braking power, and proper ride, jump to a 3/4 ton.
@@MikeThomas-ym4jh well it's been 270,000 miles and I've towed 4-6k lbs very regularly with stock everything, Never had a sagging issue beyond the rare time I max out my trailer at 7k. If you haul a 10k or 14k trailer you need a bigger truck. But to be honest my original comment was a joke I do realize these newer trucks have softer suspensions. I drive a 2004 z71 silverado and it's pretty stiff in the rear.
Your welcome! Just remember Danny knows best. ❤
I had a 1998 Chevy 2500, long bed, that thing could haul anything, sadly I sold it. Appreciate the info, keep up the great work!
Yea I’ve always had 1500s I was a 2500 pretty bad just don’t want to pay for it…
12:50 How is 6500lb not a ton by any means? Sounds like 3.25 tons to me 😛
lol when I said a ton by any Means I was saying not a crazy amount of weight for the truck to pull. lol
