We don’t normally have a problem starting the fs94r’s it’s keeping them running. They just want to die when hit the throttle. Actually work in kcmo too. Recently discovered a little trick that seemed to work well this past week when it got hot. If you get it to start when it’s hot with just a little bit of throttle, then hit the choke real fast and mash the throttle. It’ll usually run great after that.
Do you guys remove the Spark arrestor screen in the exhaust? It’s way better when that’s removed but yea still a struggle when hot, I’ll try that choke trick!
@@CutandCleanTVmine always makes that suction pppsssshhhhh noise.......so i know theres some sort of pressure discrepency there and relieving that seems to help.....but idk everything sucks more when its over 100° lol
My trimmers, blowers and edgers are kept in the covered bed of my pickup truck. On hot days all of my equipment would vapor lock and would be hard to start. Now when I pull up to a property to mow I unscrew the gas cap completely on the equipment that I will use on the property. Before I pull each piece out of the truck to use it I screw the gas cap back on. Now they fire right up!
The only issue we have is a top mounted fan or air conditioner is in our neighborhoods. We go through so many trees. Pretty sure it will get damaged fast.

I loosen the gas cap b4 starting.....it seems to be always vapor locked when its hot out....works for me! 🤷♂️
@@06Davey I’ve tried that a few times, it’s never done anything when I pop the gas cap, I’ll try it again next time when it’s super hot

Get a Fantastic Fan, they are used on RV's and really keep it cool. Another great vid!
