So cool how you recrafted these Dr. Martens boots! It's awesome how you added the goodyear welt to them and added better soles! This is how they should be made! Now they will last much longer for the owner 😊! Great work!
Just curious, friend.....what is being pulled out of the sole around the 2:30 mark? I am not sure if I have seen a similar technique/action in other videos. P.s. - great work!
Great question! Believe it or not, those are a type of metal staples that are being pulled out that the manufacturer used on the boots. It took a long time to pull them all out 1 by 1 :) Glad you enjoyed the video though!
I've never had a pair of Doc Martens, but I like the new sole on this repaired pair, much better! Really nice looking pair of "Punk Rock boots" now! Awesome craftmanship!
