The reason so many people got scammed is because the ticket prices were so cheap. Some people managed to only pay $500, and that's for two weeks in the Bahamas including room, food, music festivals and so on. It had big names behind it, and the project didn't show any signs of being a scam right until people showed up and saw the tents.

1:08 slight correction, there actually isn’t any evidence of people paying 12,000 dollars for a ticket, part of the reason fire festival was such a disaster was because the tickets were closer to 1,200 and they didn’t have enough money to do the stuff promised because of that (major oversimplification but that’s part of the reason)

His favorite game to play was ball; We'd hit a tennis/racket ball against a wall with a tennis racket and he'd try his damndest to get it. At all costs, he would have that ball.
He was a mini pinscher rat terrier mix. For a little guy, he sure was a mighty dog. He'd gotten into many fights with pitbulls and boxers, and always got away. He was too fast for'm. He just didn't like those types of dogs. Unfortunately, kidney failure got the better of him.
He was a high-strung little guy too; always on the lookout for strangers and foreign animals. He use to take mouthfuls of his food and eat it in the next room, and lay next to us as he slept. Until one day he started to relax a bit.
He started eating his food out of his bowl, he slept in his own bed, and eventually started slowing up. Little did we know of what was coming. He was buried on our property. Soon we'll get him a proper gravestone. I plan to be buried next to him when I pass away, along with my father and mother. I'll never forget the joy he brought into our lives. Never.

There is still houses from the 1800s where there is people buried on their own property but they do not allow that anymore sadly

1:08 slight correction, there actually isn’t any evidence of people paying 12,000 dollars for a ticket, part of the reason fire festival was such a disaster was because the tickets were closer to 1,200 and they didn’t have enough money to do the stuff promised because of that (major oversimplification but that’s part of the reason)
I think he started with "Fyre", changed it to "Pyre", realized that this refers to a fire used to incinerate corpses, then changed the final e to a t.

Yes Charles I remember the absolute heart attack inducing jump scare of my childhood that was the anti-piracy ads that played with that music that I'm pretty sure was made for shitty action movies or homemade parkcore films.

When they shot the promotional videos he spent a weekend around all the social media models and ja rool and he was the main man riding around on a jetski and telling everyone what the plan was. That experience broke his brain.
