This is a damn fine instructional video bud. Most people try to hard and never shut up long enough to get to what it is we need to see in order to gain a perspective of the products potential. We don't care about 2 hrs of back story with nonstop talking through the demonstration lol. I think you did exactly what we the potential future consumer expects from the video producer. Thank you. You probably sold me that warfox machine as well as the Diablo metal blade. Keep up the good work I know I appreciated it

I like to hang a 5 gallon pail with about 2” of water in it under what in cutting. Collects molten metal as it falls and helps prevent fires.

I ordered the same...just received it two days ago. Figured I'd set it up to make sure everything was okay. I'll probably get rid of the filter/regulator that came with the unit and go with a standard 1/4" NPT ported filter/reg...the unit leaks at the provided male quick disconnect fitting. I tried to thread in a 1/4 NPT air fitting that I have but the provided regulator must have metric threads. Not a big deal...prefer a better regulator anyway. Added bonuses are the front-facing pressure gauge, as well as the adjustable post-flow air.

Good review. The unit seems to do the job very well. I was impressed that the wooden bench didn't catch fire with all that spark😎. I want to get a plasma cutter because using my hand grinders, with a grinding wheel, tends to shoot sparks all over the place rather than the plasma cutter which seems to direct the spark downward.

Next time you're doing some upgrading, a worm drive circular saw will hold up long term better than a regular circ , I've got a worm that gets used for cutting thick metal here and there. The cutting torch needs a new head, and instead of buying a 200 dollar torch head, probably going to yank a plasma lol

  • @qfdforme

Thanks, nice review. I have CUT50 pilot arc I bought from Amazon too. Price was only $215. It had a 3 pin connector like the LOTOS red CUT50. I wanted to buy a spare torch and 99% are only a two pin connector. I was able to buy a 2 pin to 3 pin adapter so I could use the common plasma torch. Bottom line is I like it. It is great for cutting up bed frames.

Pilot Arc Question: Could I use this to make slow, precise cuts in auto body sheet metal? If I scribed a line on 18ga (.048) sheet, would I be able to very slowly cut right up to that line? I have a non-pilot arc plasma and it's not possible - for one, you have to cut fast. Thanks for the video. Might sell off my old plasma and get the one you got - it don't need more than that!
