Are these the new EPA compliant pipes? I'm wondering what the catalysts will do for sound and performance...give got short shots on the sporty and road rage on my dyna, i wonder what the new ones would do for power compared to older models. (Not buying new, just an inquiry as to where we're headed with aftermarket parts)
@tommcguire2346 it sounds good. I hate how bad they choke the vtwins from factory. There will definitely be a black market of sorts for older parts, especially how much easier it is to tune carbs vs efi with them going after tuners now too
Yeah,epa is sucking all the fun out. Luckily,some software is still able to ger it right, but you have to up the air,bigger injectors and throttle body,externally vent,etc. It can be alot. I have a fatboy done up,and it ain't cheap. Sad thing about it is it's not getting better for harley. They keep making bigger motors to produce more power to keep up with epa. Wish they would just do a 160 and call it a day😁
No,they have the straight through baffles without dB killer. The headers on 18+ softails are straight,unlike the touring models with cat in them. Cats in mufflers on these, but stock everything else. I told him he needs a breather and woolrich racing tune if he wants the full potential

sounds like stock with only slight rumble. Need to get rid of the CAT to make it sound like a man's bike.
@@mzi03731 the cats are in the stock slip ons on all 18+ softails,fyi. Those were swapped,so it has no cats

This is not my bike,I have a fatboy with cobra speedsters,short, but everyone has a preference. I just helped my buddy put them on
