That ship was made from DeAgostini Kit ? I'm going to order first 56 magazines (this collection from DeAgostini started in Russia only at 12.2016), so asking about difficulty if I follow the manual step by step.

The strings provided are "fuzzy" and is kind of distracting. Is there something that can be done with that?

i use beeswax for the ropes,smooths them out nicely
I built this ship 40 years ago. It took me half a year.
