@@MsScarletwings not for me. I've seen every interaction between AL-AN and Robin in the game but they still don't have nearly enough meaningful time together to support this "eternal friends" narrative.
The hype is indeed real. Like, we love ourselves some survival games in the depths of the sea. But to have an overarching narrative and good story? Bitch, ain't no _way_ I'm gonna pass that up!
Same. If they decided to take the next game in a completely different direction I'm fine with it just as long as we get to know more about the architects cuz this ending was such a tease
Definitely another subnautica coming. It's possible even a movie, but likely another game. Next one doesn't seem to be a survival game which should be very interesting
It would suck for them to make another scenario on 4546B it would be fine if it was like a secondary setting but for such a good cliffhanger they have to have Robin, AL-AN and the architect home-world as a whole.
Below zero is considered a DLC or a Spin-off itself by the devs, Subnautica 2 (not below zero) was announced and characters from other games such as Riley, Robin or AL-AN are not coming back, that was confirmed by the devs.
The only thing i like more about the final BZ version than the beta, is that alan borrows you his arms to let him help you, and the "with you, I'm ready to face whatever awaits". Pretty much everything else was a letdown. Even marg didn't play a role like she used to
@@bondwick1914 Haven't seen any announcements or news on it yet but I'll be keeping an eye out for as long as it takes. Maybe they'll use unreal engine 5 to make it

That ending SCREAMED DLC.... yet we didn't get one :( Loved this game. Sad to see it end. Can you finish the game WITHOUT administering the antidote and if so, does it change the ending? I guess it just leaves the line out in which Robin says something about getting closure by finishing her sisters work.
I didn’t administer the antidote and I just beat the game and the ending was the same. It’s like the Aurora reactor in the first game where you don’t have to repair it to beat the game.
As much harp as this ending of below zero gets, it’s still an awesome sequence, there is still much to be desired from the ending but it’s still pretty cool.
Concept: 'Subnautica: Edge of Void' where you're a prawn suit operator in the Aurora and jump out with a experimental next level of prawn suit with everything from fabricators and stuff, very claustrophobic and you fall in the void, r.i.p. but since ghost leviathans probably dont populate the entire void you find some places with stuff and crap.
you'd think someone interfacing for the first time with antigrav alien manipulators would try to get a feel for them first like moving a little around for a few second at least, moving a rock, or see if they can push the mass off snow off the pillar instead of almost dropping the obelisk down a cliff. XD
Could i request something from you ? i have a biggest bug , after last patch that i dont have teleport gate :( , could you let me know after teleport place coordiantions otherwise i cannot finish the game
I'm not sure the exact coordinates, but you basically follow a path that runs up from Outpost Zero. The coordinates for Outpost Zero is -72 9 301 If you're experiencing bugs, make sure that you are on the main branch and not the experimental branch of the game.
I played the rest a couple of months back but yes I think you have to go to the relics to keep progressing the story. I'm not sure if it is strictly speaking necessary to visit all of them but you definitely need to visit some to allow you to build the architect's body.
Yes, only the architect cache relics matter to progress in the story. The rest of the relics are just there to get blueprints or information about the Architects.
@@b33tler - What I was wondering was if you needed to fully reconnect Al-an to whatever network is left on the planet before they can get the Phase Gate running. You answered that question for me. Thank you! 🙂

yeah
AL-AN
Sure, but the story didn't really earn that kind of friendship between AL-AN and Robin.

@@MsScarletwings not for me. I've seen every interaction between AL-AN and Robin in the game but they still don't have nearly enough meaningful time together to support this "eternal friends" narrative.
Thank you for the no commentary, tired of trying to find a video of the ending without some idiot going "wow dude, so cool" every 5 seconds.
So annoying!
😂😂
the fact that AL-AN went from saying "We" when he reffers to himself to "i" towards the end, shows how Robin influenced him
So cute

I'm pretty sure the entirety of Below Zero was made to set up whatever they have planned for Subnautica 3. In that regard, it did a damn good job.
It's a shame BZ has all these flaws, some of the parts of the world and the ending cutscene are just amazing
