In this video, we will look at atomic absorption spectroscopy. We go through the apparatus used for this method of analysis, and give a picture of what an emission spectrum generally looks like.
"he had the brainwave to use light rather than heat to excite an atom."
....the brainwave???? lol
Absolutely phenomenal!!!!
Great explanation.
Thanks for making/sharing this.
Excellent explanation.
Amazing video. Thanks!
The title of the video is incorrect... (flies away), XP btw great video!
Thankfully this a good video.
Thank you! Very helpful.
Excellent
Wow thanks for this
Thanks! was a great help :D
Bhojpuri song Dk rimis song
Good
excellence voice! thanks for the explanation!
can AAS be used for both quantification and qualitative identification of samples both in liquid and solid state?
Pls how can I communicate with the manufacturer.. I have a challenge with my equipment AAS 210 model & I need to make an enqury. Thank you
Old as fuck video but still helpful man thanks
can I marry you :O this is exactly what I needed for my AAS lab tomorrow
Jennyfer Mulaja 😂wtf
Say the specific metal is present in the sample. Why doesn't all the light get absorbed, since the lamp emits (only?) the frequencies that can excite the metal?
+Chris D there are many lines different from the analyte lines; for example, lines from the gas filling the lamp, Argon, and , I am not sure, the cathode may heat up and emit
@@robefernandez1960 But why not use a "normal lamp" radiating all wavelength of the visible range instead, like Tungsten lamps etc.?
The lamp temperature and other stp conditions are controlled to keep the atom ( Na, Pb, Cu...etc) in ground state, so that it can absorb the required energy in the particular wave length to reach excited state.
