3:42 in this part you mentioned that when the denominator increases with a greater concentration the overall value ( the fraction) will increase. Isn’t it supposed to be the opposite of that meaning, when the denominator increases with a lower concentration the overall value ( the fraction) will decrease and the absorbance will decrease?
At the part of the principles, the phrasing as you were expalining was not correct. It is,"as concentration of the cation in solution increases, the absorption increase",since absorbance is the dependent variable, and concentration independent,in this narrative.
you say "the same wave that was absorbed is re-emitted by the element" but it's not the same wave(length), it's complementary, it's everything *but* that same wave?
Hey! I am also a non-native English speaker. In youtube videos you can slow down the speed of the video by going to settings-> playback speed-> I usually put it to 0.75. good luck!
You are such a phenomenally talent & awesome gentleman! The clarity is of the highest standard and second to none!
My lab manual was awful. You explained this perfectly. Thank you. UNDERRATED CHANNEL
😂
Amazing work, I can say I fully understand this topic now. Thank you so much!!!
Clear explanation from the basics!!
Thanks so much ☺️
I love the fascination in your voice as you explain it)
Explained so well👍
Please make more chemistry concept videos, we freshman are struggling and your videos help a ton!
Great explanation disturbed by the heavy intonation, can be avoided
this video is the best explanation for this topic, thnk you so much
Wow
This is very detailed and interesting

Exactly what I needed - thank you!
Anytime Bianca! More videos to come!
This is so informative I understood everything so clearly!!
when the mercury solution heated by flame, is it become atom or cation?
this was incredibly helpful, thank you!
Glad we could help!
What an informative video! Details were so helpful
Thank you so much for the lecture
Woww thnku so much for this ..
Thank you so much! I just wanted to know what’s the difference between this and x ray fluorescence?
Now I feel like I am an expert..😅😅 after watching this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can you do mercury in flame? We were taught to use graphite furnace for Hg
This is brilliant
The same apply to the infrared?
QUESTION
Why doesn't the emitted radiation by the analyte (in this case mercury) interfere with the transmittance readings
this is so good
Thank you. That Was helpful.
Super duidelijk! Tnx
Wonderful explanation
boss man tings was this peng tings
Thank youuuu for this!! 🙏🏼😇
Denominator increases so the fraction increases?
is this flame atomic absorption spectroscopy?
well explained sir🤝
If 30% is absorbed in burner, then 70% is emitted into monochromator?
prithvi mate i love you
