Yeah. It’s kinda why I was so happy to see her in samurai remnant. There was always this underlying understanding that her existence was temporary and she wouldn’t be able to be resummoned. Even if the one in samurai remnant seemed kinda hollow as if her flame had gone out all I could think was “she really made it.” Guess the saint’s shadow will never fade away into that good night.

She's actually closer to the actual Jeanne, as a version of Jeanne that gave up on her principles in order to try and bring her master salvation. And considering that the timeline of SR is appearently also destined to be pruned... the existence of Jeanne Lancer Alter probably won't have much meaning for Jalters chances of being summonable. She'll still most likely be just eternally waiting on the Throne of Heroes if we don't resummon her later on after Arc 2 is done...

Jeanne’s primary class is ruler which puts her into a unique position implying that she can be trusted to not pull any bs to get her hands on the grail. If what you’re saying is true then it’s a Lancer Artoria Alter situation, something that doesn’t exist but does anyway for some reason. Unless that’s explicitly the reason then that’s both too convoluted and not satisfying enough for me to accept. (In which case citation needed) So it does seem like a JAlter that has reverted to her hollow pre chaldea form, at which point it doesn’t really matter if the timeline is pruned as she survived basically that the first time around. And I’m fine with her being practically unsummonable, just being safe in the throne is enough for me
Ritsuka favourite Class Servant will always be an Avenger. I think if Ritsuka participate in a Grail War or maybe summon a single Servant to accompany him in a Singularity (If Mash was never became a Demi-Servant) I could imagine him summoning an Avenger class Servant. Don't ge me wrong all Servant is important for Ritsuka. But nothing compare his bond with Avenger.

It’s even sadder when well.. you remember that this is the people that became literally Fujimaru life, day-in-and-out. Heck he spent years fighting with them and sharing memories. Not anyone but them.. what’s worst is that HE is the only one that remembers as when they’re ’re gone, they won’t remember him, sometimes even forcing him to kill people he knew and love… and now damn.. some of them are gone for good.. because some of this servants aren’t even supposed to exist if it wasn’t for Fujimarus influence. Sorry but at this point I’m fighting not for the planet but against it.
I'm betting that to twist the knife even further, by the time Ritsuka gets to Antartica, the Avengers will either be defeated, dead or even corrupted; forcing us to face against them and take them down. Pulling a Heaven's Feel on us and making us kill Jalter... and to truly hit the heart on us, make it so the Avengers that got killed either can't be summoned again or even if they do get back, their memories of Chaldea will be forever gone, only aiding Ritsuka for being their master and fighting for Human Order but nothing else beyond that. ... I'm so calling it right now, I hope to be wrong later and Jalter and the rest having a happy ending; just like how LB6 Castoria came back from Avalon for Summer 8 for happy memories

Her background is that her Master ended up saving the world, but was then killed by the very people he saved. This caused her to lose her sanity, and so she became an Avenger, swearing to destroy the very world that robbed her of the one person she loved above all else. And she'd have a Noble Phantasm that strips all defensive buffs before 1-shotting the target with universal offensive advantage, titled "Lost Camelot (Requiem for a Fallen Utopia)". She needs to be one of the final few bosses in the entire game.

She's been through enough tragedy and BS as it is, between getting incinerated by Shiva, becoming a Beast, losing to Parvati while a Beast, and then having to turn around in OC1 and fight Durga/Kali who is her WORST nightmare. Keep in mind that Kama being able to exploit Durga/Kali's weakness of love only caused the fight to end in a double KO, which is still amazing given that Bhima and Duryodhana did not even stand a CHANCE against Durga/Kali even when working together.
You'll see her again, in-story... and if we feel like it, after you clear all Ordeal Calls and get to Antartica... in maybe 2030. Anyways, enjoy your Jalter update, losers

With how FGO can be, it will take at least 3 to 5 or 6 years to see her again... and I'm calling it: we'll either meet them again at Antartica, totally corrupted and having to take them down a la Saber Alter in Heaven's Feel, with an extra condition that if they vanish, either they won't comeback or they won't remember anything from Chaldea at all.

well, she has one of the best character development in fgo, from the orleans to here... from an evil servant who only like to massacre people to a tsundere girl which seeks attention, then to a geunine woman who really likes his master.(still a little tsundere but not that much like before) jeanne alter... you really improve yourself a lot. see you soon on other side and wait for us
I think what makes so hard to say bye to Jalter and Dantes...Is because they are servants that have been with Fujimaru ever since the early years of FGO. And they often accompanied Guda or made cameos in diverse type of stories. Sure it's sad when a character that accompany Ritsuka in a story ends dying...But Jalter and Dantes have been for a long time. So they have a lot of presence.
It's like losing OG Da Vinci or Mashu. It hurts like hell... but in their case, because they aren't part of the "dream team", their come back might never happen or be delayed for many years...
That's not to mention the pain he DOESN'T remember. Like the TWO Moon Cell Grail Wars he's been in. In the Dantes Inturlude, he said that there were multiple spill overs from all of his Servant contracts that he's protected us from. Without him there anymore, what is going to end up seeping through?

Dante was the one who created this world within the master mind as a means for him to test his master unto Avenger path. After Ritsuka wake up upon passing the trial. He remembered everything. The pain and suffering he experienced in the Pseudo-Singularity about what happened to his family that he feels numb looking at Mash and Da Vinci. At the end he want to meet the Avengers one last time before the goodbye.

Major spoilers for story, of course. Avengers cannot be safely used in defense of the human order. Not for us, anyway. This is because Avengers are servants who will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to achieve their goal, the only way for us to make use of them in defense of the human order is if we're willing to, for example, destroy the world to defeat the Alien God. Which is of course not what we want - we want to save the world. Put another way, Avengers would murder a child to kill the kidnapper taking that child hostage. Maybe a bit grim as an example, but I feel like it fits the kind of mentality needed to make use of Avengers to defend the human order. They're an inherently self-destructive class that will do anything and sacrifice everything if it means getting the revenge (or otherwise) that they wish for. Because of this, for as long as we are using Avengers, we cannot enter Antarctica, because we just don't have the type of determination needed in order to make use of them. So Dantes and the other Avengers all decide to leave and return to the throne (be unsummoned). They’re not going “ahead to Antarctica”. They just leave. Dantes says that, if we ever decide to sacrifice everything, up to and including the world ("walk the path of the Avenger") to defeat the Alien God, then we can call upon the Avengers again in Antarctica. But he hopes we will never walk that path, because we're the kind of person who wants a Good Ending instead of a Bad Ending, and that's not something that should change. MC is of course extremely upset by this, and as a form of compromise Dantes says they'll leave behind shadows that will allow us to use their power even without them being actually there. It's cold comfort, and MC is still terribly saddened by having to part with their friends like this, but they eventually agree upon being reminded what they're aiming for in the end (as well as some encouragement from Jalter, in her own way). Regarding Jalter: This situation is especially bad for her, because she's a servant that doesn't exist in the throne - she's exclusive to Chaldea due to her unique circumstances. She is, in other words, a "Dream". Since she can't accompany us to Antarctica, and we can't get into Antarctica as long as she's around, she has to leave. It is unknown if her being unsummoned like this will still allow her to be summoned later on down the line, so as far as everyone is aware, this is a final goodbye to her. Jeanne sees her off before she disappears, saying that she's happy to have met "the other her who became like a sister to her".
The Jalter part is misleading. After the counterfeit event and Shinjuku, Jalter already had her data recorded on the Throne. She can be summoned again. Her status is "Link Lost" not "Data Lost". If she's gone for good she would have been aware of that and had a word with Master and her status would have been something else, not "Link lost".
Same. She was the first SSR I rolled and has always been my choice if there is a single enemy that requires lots of damage. Seeing this... it hurt coz now I dread this coming in two years. I havent read any spoilers about the story aside from this but I have a severely bad feeling its gonna hit me like a damn truck... Hopefully we will meet her and the other Avengers again soon but as another prominent Avenger would say... "Wait and Hope." Thats all we can do now.
She is my ace, coming in two ten pull during the counterfeit event and carried me eversince America Singularity. She is the one who help me defeat Gotia... She is also my first LV100 Grailservant. Seeing her gone felt empty... why it must be her out of everyone... why can't they just Data Lost a someone like Merlin and Shahrazad instead. What have she done to deserve this?
@@SlothofBangkok I mean, it's not data lost... but her case feels more like she got draftef to 'nam and not knowing if she'll be ok by the time we reach Antartica or defeat Ordeal Call. Which could take 2 to 3 years minimum and 4 to 6 maximum if Lasangle feels like overstretching the plot with each extra class having a chapter... I miss her so much and my only regret is showering her with love so late. Now, every time she gets a rate up, I'll try to get her so I can make her NP5 (currently NP2). I'll gather resources to make her lvl. 120 and make her bond 15. Bonding her to 10 a couple days before OC2 was released was both a curse and a wake up call to do what needs to be done for her: pamper her with love

I was away from FGO NA for almost a year now, and I just recently came...and ten minutes ago I found out that in two years from now I will lose my beloved, even if only story wise. I have been crying since then, and it doesn't seem like it's gonna stop anytime soon. Why...why do I have to lose my girl?
6 years ago, I was asking for a sign something that couldn’t be coincidence as to why I should keep going when I never asked to exist. Last ten roll walking to the train tracks got back to back jalter. She saved me once, I can’t squander that.
This is why I really wish they did more content on guda or a manga in her perspective. These people say they are transient beings, but to guda shes probably spent more time with them then even her parents or friends before chaldea. I really wish there was a line of "I cant even remember my life before chaldea" showing how much these servants have affected her. Its a cheap excuse for the servants to say they are transient in the servant perspective, because guda probably now views them all as family.
That's the thing, they have become his new family. Taking them away with excuses feels rather cheap when it's not someone that is always there like Mashu, Fou and so on. It feels like just a means to keep you hostage in the story so you don't drop it, they can extend it eben further, and keep you with the idea that you might see your friends back again and they coming back home... or just you finally saving humanity so their sacrifice won't be in vain. But I don't want the second option, I just want them back and live happy. ... I mean, this year's April Fool's app was all a crazy dream Ritsuka had probably after OC2 where all he dreamt was a silly singularitu where he was having fun with everyone while playing soccer and everyone being there. Amakusa already had its animation upgrade... And it is my understanding that the Moon Cancer and the Foreigner class are exempt from OCs. The first because it is a class created in the Moon Cell and the second because they are considered as possible candidates for the Beast.

While I hope they will return someday, cause it's strange to permanently delete Nitocris Alter or Jalter(one of the most popular characters) from the story and lore, it's not the first time for Fate series to kill beloved characters, so I think this is the end for Avengers and Jalter particularly.

It’s even sadder when well.. you remember that this is the people that became literally Fujimaru life, day-in-and-out. Heck he spent years fighting with them and sharing memories. Not anyone but them.. what’s worst is that HE is the only one that remembers as when they’re ’re gone, they won’t remember him, sometimes even forcing him to kill people he knew and love… and now damn.. some of them are gone for good.. because some of this servants aren’t even supposed to exist if it wasn’t for Fujimarus influence. Sorry but at this point I’m fighting not for the planet but against it.
I'm betting that to twist the knife even further, by the time Ritsuka gets to Antartica, the Avengers will either be defeated, dead or even corrupted; forcing us to face against them and take them down. Pulling a Heaven's Feel on us and making us kill Jalter... and to truly hit the heart on us, make it so the Avengers that got killed either can't be summoned again or even if they do get back, their memories of Chaldea will be forever gone, only aiding Ritsuka for being their master and fighting for Human Order but nothing else beyond that.
... I'm so calling it right now, I hope to be wrong later and Jalter and the rest having a happy ending; just like how LB6 Castoria came back from Avalon for Summer 8 for happy memories

She needs to be one of the final few bosses in the entire game.

She's been through enough tragedy and BS as it is, between getting incinerated by Shiva, becoming a Beast, losing to Parvati while a Beast, and then having to turn around in OC1 and fight Durga/Kali who is her WORST nightmare.
Keep in mind that Kama being able to exploit Durga/Kali's weakness of love only caused the fight to end in a double KO, which is still amazing given that Bhima and Duryodhana did not even stand a CHANCE against Durga/Kali even when working together.
For someone who is so dedicated to Jalter, this hurts😔

I think what makes so hard to say bye to Jalter and Dantes...Is because they are servants that have been with Fujimaru ever since the early years of FGO. And they often accompanied Guda or made cameos in diverse type of stories.
Sure it's sad when a character that accompany Ritsuka in a story ends dying...But Jalter and Dantes have been for a long time. So they have a lot of presence.
It's like losing OG Da Vinci or Mashu. It hurts like hell... but in their case, because they aren't part of the "dream team", their come back might never happen or be delayed for many years...

@@glitchedknights323 OC2 is tied to the master soul where the Pseudo-Singularity takes place. Its akin to a Reality Marble that simulated Ritsuka past before joining Chaldea. Dante was the one who created this world within the master mind as a means for him to test his master unto Avenger path. After Ritsuka wake up upon passing the trial. He remembered everything. The pain and suffering he experienced in the Pseudo-Singularity about what happened to his family that he feels numb looking at Mash and Da Vinci. At the end he want to meet the Avengers one last time before the goodbye.

Okay, so I've been seeing some mild misunderstandings about the ending of the chapter, so I'll just outline everything here as far as I was able to understand based on what I read. Major spoilers for story, of course.
Avengers cannot be safely used in defense of the human order. Not for us, anyway. This is because Avengers are servants who will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to achieve their goal, the only way for us to make use of them in defense of the human order is if we're willing to, for example, destroy the world to defeat the Alien God. Which is of course not what we want - we want to save the world. Put another way, Avengers would murder a child to kill the kidnapper taking that child hostage. Maybe a bit grim as an example, but I feel like it fits the kind of mentality needed to make use of Avengers to defend the human order. They're an inherently self-destructive class that will do anything and sacrifice everything if it means getting the revenge (or otherwise) that they wish for.
Because of this, for as long as we are using Avengers, we cannot enter Antarctica, because we just don't have the type of determination needed in order to make use of them. So Dantes and the other Avengers all decide to leave and return to the throne (be unsummoned). They’re not going “ahead to Antarctica”. They just leave. Dantes says that, if we ever decide to sacrifice everything, up to and including the world ("walk the path of the Avenger") to defeat the Alien God, then we can call upon the Avengers again in Antarctica. But he hopes we will never walk that path, because we're the kind of person who wants a Good Ending instead of a Bad Ending, and that's not something that should change. MC is of course extremely upset by this, and as a form of compromise Dantes says they'll leave behind shadows that will allow us to use their power even without them being actually there. It's cold comfort, and MC is still terribly saddened by having to part with their friends like this, but they eventually agree upon being reminded what they're aiming for in the end (as well as some encouragement from Jalter, in her own way).
Regarding Jalter: This situation is especially bad for her, because she's a servant that doesn't exist in the throne - she's exclusive to Chaldea due to her unique circumstances. She is, in other words, a "Dream". Since she can't accompany us to Antarctica, and we can't get into Antarctica as long as she's around, she has to leave. It is unknown if her being unsummoned like this will still allow her to be summoned later on down the line, so as far as everyone is aware, this is a final goodbye to her. Jeanne sees her off before she disappears, saying that she's happy to have met "the other her who became like a sister to her".
The Jalter part is misleading. After the counterfeit event and Shinjuku, Jalter already had her data recorded on the Throne. She can be summoned again. Her status is "Link Lost" not "Data Lost". If she's gone for good she would have been aware of that and had a word with Master and her status would have been something else, not "Link lost".

Which could take 2 to 3 years minimum and 4 to 6 maximum if Lasangle feels like overstretching the plot with each extra class having a chapter...
I miss her so much and my only regret is showering her with love so late. Now, every time she gets a rate up, I'll try to get her so I can make her NP5 (currently NP2). I'll gather resources to make her lvl. 120 and make her bond 15.
Bonding her to 10 a couple days before OC2 was released was both a curse and a wake up call to do what needs to be done for her: pamper her with love

This is why I really wish they did more content on guda or a manga in her perspective. These people say they are transient beings, but to guda shes probably spent more time with them then even her parents or friends before chaldea. I really wish there was a line of "I cant even remember my life before chaldea" showing how much these servants have affected her. Its a cheap excuse for the servants to say they are transient in the servant perspective, because guda probably now views them all as family.
That's the thing, they have become his new family. Taking them away with excuses feels rather cheap when it's not someone that is always there like Mashu, Fou and so on.
It feels like just a means to keep you hostage in the story so you don't drop it, they can extend it eben further, and keep you with the idea that you might see your friends back again and they coming back home... or just you finally saving humanity so their sacrifice won't be in vain. But I don't want the second option, I just want them back and live happy.

I mean, this year's April Fool's app was all a crazy dream Ritsuka had probably after OC2 where all he dreamt was a silly singularitu where he was having fun with everyone while playing soccer and everyone being there. He could've had even morr nightmares but instead just had a silly dream. It says a lot about what he really wants

Amakusa already had its animation upgrade... And it is my understanding that the Moon Cancer and the Foreigner class are exempt from OCs. The first because it is a class created in the Moon Cell and the second because they are considered as possible candidates for the Beast.

While I hope they will return someday, cause it's strange to permanently delete Nitocris Alter or Jalter(one of the most popular characters) from the story and lore, it's not the first time for Fate series to kill beloved characters, so I think this is the end for Avengers and Jalter particularly.
