Mira, the way you improv those decorative motifs just blows our mind! This video shows that a highly skilled artist can get good results with entry-level paints, but we think beginners might struggle with those thin, less pigmented colors. We'd love to see some side-by-side comparisons of similar projects with professional-grade colors!

OOOH! IDEA!: If you can find a glass terrarium that is in the shape of a house, you can paint on the inside of it in the same style as your greenhouses, and then you could have a 3D mini greenhouse painting!

My favourite thing in this video is the montage of Mira just buying the art supplies and seeing what she chooses. I love Mira style in her artworks especially the ones with smiley faces 😊

A q&a spa day would be kinda fun, even if it is for paint brushes!! Start and thumbnail should be you with cucumbers on your eyes and brushes around you!! 😂 They all turned out super cute! 🤗 Even at 59, I'm such a kid. I have that same rainbow. It will be my favorite color- rainbow sparkles!! 🌈 Bright bold in rainbow order colors!! 😅

Yes please make this a series. I really like how watching the things you paint gets me in the crafting mood and I think I will be heading over to target to look for the tea cup items. This would be a great series. They all came out so beautifully, but I was hoping that you would paint the sides of the mug, it would have finished it off. What is the difference between painting things on paper or canvas and painting on shaped wooden objects? Love it! It did not seem long. You could break the painting up into a few more videos so it would not feel so rushed and you could finish off the pieces in a more relaxing way. Love your positive energy. Thank you for a great video.
The most random thing I have painted so far is a small wooden cutting board and... I definitely want to paint more of those. Would love to see you paint more random things :)
Pro tip: metallic always look better over black. These are so sweet!!!! Love from PA. The teacup reminds me of PA Dutch folk painting.

Good to know about the Mondo Llama paint, I’ve wondered what it was like. The Mondo Llama brushes are surprisingly good, btw. Cheap and they stand up to brutal treatment 😁

I feel very inspired to paint random objects now. Started painting one.of my brush storage buckets while I watched. For some reason it just didn't occur to me that I could customise things until.I watched this. It's a lot of fun. Thank you. Also I usually say roof though now I'm trying to figure out where someone would be from that they would say ruff. Accents are fascinating.

Oh, I’m excited to have found this fun channel! Just an FYI: right now they have a cute wood caddy for $5 in the “dollar” section at Target. It says “hot cocoa” on the front, for some reason, and it holds a pretty good amount of art supplies.

I bought a few of the wooden rainbows during the summer, and each of my kids painted them. They're now year-round decorations in our home. 😊
You can add cornstarch to cheapy paint and make it a bit thicker for better coverage 🖌 I would love to see this become a series😁

Definitely love the smell of books too!! Cute projects!! I have been catching up on your videos. I no longer have my 1/2 hour commute to listen to your videos so things have been wonky coming up with new routines.
This was so perfect! I am going to put this idea into practice to keep me inspired and to take breaks from long painting stints. I need to remind myself sometimes to just let loose and have fun again.

I think it is corn starch you can add to the see through paints to thicken them up. Supposed to make it so you don’t have to use as many coats. Hate those super see through colors. Always a joy to watch you create.
I got my second order from your shop the other day and I am so so so in love with the Moonlight Moth pin! I also got the Forrest washi, I just love your moths and botanicals, if I was gifted the last item you painted I would be so thrilled! That's a lucky person that's getting it for Christmas!
I also have the mondo llama paints and agree with you, they don't have the best coverage. The colors look cute though! That house turned out so nice!

The paint you got from target they are all no matter the brand only as good as craft/poster paint and kid quality. Golden are top of the line professional grade and are beautiful and easy to work with because your not fighting with the paint constantly

If you have cornstarch on hand, mix it with the cheap paint you got and it will be so much better. Lot more coverage and not as thin/watery anymore. Saw this hack somewhere and it really helps these cheap paints a lot

You are channeling Moriah Elizabeth apparently - she has a "Thrift Store Makeover" series, where she finds stuff at a thrift store/charity shop etc and repaints/redesigns it. Sometimes it will just be stuff like you did today where they're just cute things that you paint to match your own style, or are in need of a few touch ups/a bit of TLC and sometimes it will be a more extensive makeover where she has added to an object using polymer clay or epoxy resin to make it more her style. If you haven't seen it definitely check out her channel (she has a slight pastel rainbow obsession but we don't judge her too harshly for it! 😂) There are tons of ideas to do to upcycle things and she also has a series about what arts/crafts ideas you can do when you're bored which would pair well with your sketchbook ideas series.

Oh, I just had an idea for a sticker if you're interested in it! I really liked the door you painted in the fall sketchbook ideas video and now the cute house with the red door. Maybe you could do a sticker inspired by them! I would love one to put in my journal for the day we bought our house!

I never really think of my palettes as crusty. I mostly use watercolours, so that's all paint I can (and probably will) still use.

I say roof (oo as in moon). I didn’t even know until I was an adult that people would say roof (oo as in woof), since it’s very uncommon (to my knowledge) in my accent. Amen to this being a series too, love it.
