Great video. I had 2 broken and fragmented/missing belts. Couldn't even find a diagram... Thanks for taking the time to share, and not missing a beat. You the man!
Dude. Kudos. Easy and understandable. Wish I found you two months ago. :D Keep up the good work. 58yr old with enough wrench knowledge to be dangerous here. Next is the timing chain and METAL guides I got from LC Engineering. I gots rattles.
2:00 Sounds a little counterintuitive? I see you loosen the pulley bolt 1st then the tensioning bolt? I'm about to change my pulley bearing and scratching my head. Thanks for your video definitely a help.
Hey Thanx 4 the "belt change 4 dummies!" By chance do you know where I can obtain a "temp sensor" for an 88 22RE 4x4? I've searched every auto store, on line, dealers, rock auto, etc. "They discontinued the part." Any pull-apart place of course, IF one gets lucky to find one, of course the engines are already gone. Of the x2 sensors on the front of those blocks, it's the one on the left. She starts when it's warmer weather, and once she's warmed up. But in the cold-no bueno! I don't trust the used ones I see on "ebay." Not something you can tell from a picture whether it works or not. Anyway, if U have any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it! (-;
Are you referring to the coolant temp sensor (the little green plastic connector with the brass sensor)? if so, I didn't have much trouble finding them online. I brought one all of the way to checkout on a website called yotashop.com . let me know if that works for you or if you're talking about a different part
Thank you for this! Had a loose water pump belt and this made it easy without the Chiltons book

Thanks man! Great video
4:17 if you tighten them instead does it increases belt tension because my belt is squeaking and I think it’s because it’s loose.
Great job 👋👍
Thanks Kenny
Appreciate the video 🫶
Thanks a lot man !!
Thanks bro ❤❤❤
Could tightening the front pulley bolt cause squealing?
Did you figure it out? I’m having a hard time figuring it out

My bottom bolt on alternator isn’t getting tight.
And it was already loose so I’m guessing it’s missing the nut behind it
Same here
Nvm I figured it out! lol it has two sides, so you need two wrenches to hold one side onto place!
So I just need a 14 and a 12 mm and maybe a few screwdrivers
Pretty much!
Man I've recently gave up on working on my vehicles. Videos like this give me action to do this but then I loose the spark idk why.
And what about the f****** crank sensor
I'm sensing you're cranky. There. Crank sensor complete
