I just hope my friend would understand that about the drowning thing, he plays the bouzouki which is a loud instrument if you compare to the guitar which makes me play louder and so on,,messes everything up.. So be a team player when you play with others because its frustrating and just making the music worse..There are special places when you will play louder when it NEEDS to... John plays a G#dim7 chord there at 1:18. It creates a half step bass movement from the G chord to the D/A chord. You can finger this chord 4X343X. Hope that helps!
Tommy's guitars always look so used. I know any good musician plays a lot but Tommy's guitars always look like an old pair of jeans that have been lived in a lot. The one in this video is actually in pretty good shape compared to many of his.
