The Anime Arc is one of my favorites! This arc had surprised me when Meggy had changed into a human, for better or worse. I like the design of Human Meggy, but I do missed Inkling Meggy for her aspects from Splatoon. Overall, the Anime Arc has definitely made an impact 5 years later on this channel. It's the 5th Anniversary of the Anime Arc.
I'm genuinely crying over this. What? How did you make me this emotionally invested in a character who was an absolute jerk not that many episodes ago? I never cry at character deaths in anything.
The fact that Mario at the end, even though he is a colossal idiot sometimes, was able to show some control, and show support for Meggy, after everything they went through, really shows that he is a true friend, and no matter what the situation brings, he will always be there. I almost cried at the end of this to be perfectly honest (Please don't judge me, I'm a very emotional person)
GOD DAMN, what a ride I can't describe the general emotion I'm feeling right now. The characters, the story, the wrighting, the pacing, the drama.... This is without a doubt. The best SMG4 arc of all time! It isn't even close.

The Anime Arc is one of the best that SMG4 has done, everything in this arc is incredible, the absurd but effective plot, the balanced rhythm, the tone that becomes more serious and dark and Meggy's metal plot twist that marked a before and then in the story and in the character of Meggy, I think I have already said enough about why it is one of the best things you have done and that is why I would love for you to do a remastering of this legendary arc with the animation quality and dubbing that you have today, since this arc, although it is incredible in narrative, unfortunately in technical aspects it is already very outdated and not only this arc but also the Waluigi Arc, which is also very good and the great Meggy's Destiny movie. With everything I have said, I ask you to do a remastering of this legendary arc and its sequel movie, but well, that's all, goodbye SMG4.

That comparison is so fucking insulting, it's unbelievable Marvel - Has character development - Actually takes itself seriously - The few uses of memes are relevant to the time and appropriate - Has a strong cast, each getting their own film and character development to make them stand out SMG4 - Very little development - Makes jokes at the worst times (Look at 0:15 compared to 1:00) - Puts memes literally everywhere, and 90% of them are dead/normie - Has a forgettable cast of one or two-dimensional characters
Losing her inkling traits and abilities the same day she lost her best friend. Meggy went through a lot. At least she was able to adapt to her human-like appearance, the grief of losing Desti however is going to haunt her for years.
THEORY TIME From the machine that meggy was in could have made her look like that it was overloaded from her inkling form gave her a human form that could have drain all her DNA and what was left was a DNA of a human that could have been a problem Desti could have live it was just her left side of her chest, also inklings do die if covered to much ink, but without the ink pad she would still be alive. The Anime Arc is one of the best that SMG4 has done, everything in this arc is incredible, the absurd but effective plot, the balanced rhythm, the tone that becomes more serious and dark and Meggy's metal plot twist that marked a before and then in the story and in the character of Meggy, I think I have already said enough about why it is one of the best things you have done and that is why I would love for you to do a remastering of this legendary arc with the animation quality and dubbing that you have today, since this arc, although it is incredible in narrative, unfortunately in technical aspects it is already very outdated and not only this arc but also the Waluigi Arc, which is also very good and the great Meggy's Destiny movie.
With everything I have said, I ask you to do a remastering of this legendary arc and its sequel movie, but well, that's all, goodbye SMG4.
It has been a year since Desti died. How quickly the time is passing. But no matter when, we will always remember You, Desti.

At least she was able to adapt to her human-like appearance, the grief of losing Desti however is going to haunt her for years.

From the machine that meggy was in could have made her look like that it was overloaded from her inkling form gave her a human form that could have drain all her DNA and what was left was a DNA of a human that could have been a problem
Desti could have live it was just her left side of her chest, also inklings do die if covered to much ink, but without the ink pad she would still be alive.
From she is now floating on water because of this arc she might be able to live if they know how to revive her
Meggy's new form is now a big problem for the splatfest because she isn't an inkling anymore sure Mario,Luigi,Saiko and Bob aren't inklings but the point is her squid form is what I'm talking about
