Abelar is one of the first and one of the best standupers in PL. He was part of Limo cabaret for years earlier.

Yeah, totally can recommend Abelard's other works - in my opinion one of the top3 stand up comedians in Poland. His works are available on YT, though some are lengthy. I personally recommend "Ludzie trzymajcie kapelusze" ("People, hold on to your hats"), although I cannot see any English subtitles yet.

Abelard Giza is one of first making stand up popular in Poland. He use to do comedy show, teather, movies, audiobook story, wrote some books… a lot of great work from this guy! Check Abelard Giza and Kabaret Limo

You asked what is Sevres pattern ( of the family in this case ). In 1799, the platinum Kilogramme des Archives replaced it as the standard of mass. In 1889, a cylinder of platinum-iridium, the International Prototype of the Kilogram (IPK), became the standard of the unit of mass for the metric system and remained so for 130 years, before the current standard was adopted in 2019. And that prototype was stored in Sevres, France as a model unit of a kilogram, so in this case Abelard is refering sarcasticly to the upmost model of a family

That is my opinion too, Abelard is still the best. It is not only that his jokes are funny but many times there is quite a lot of philosophy in his performances, reflections about the human condition in general.

In my opinion, Lotek is one of the best stand-up comedians in Poland. He conveys a lot with his acting on stage, not just with his words. Greetings from Poland!

If you find a subtitled stand-up of him, I recommend Antoni Syrek-Dąbrowski. He's my absolute top favorite for his really dark humor :P

Hey man. I like your channel. I was going to suggest Abelard after you covered some other standups lately but I see you already found him. He's my favorite. I have two suggestions for you for the channel in general. 1) Not a comedy, but related to some other content you posted - read up on Jacek Kaczmarski. I just feel like your channel is incomplete without including some of the sung poetry. Here's one song with translated lyrics that I like th-cam.com/video/A002L8Rlm0g/w-d-xo.html . But check out the whole genre. 2) Maybe you could cover and juxtapose some culture related content like yours from other Eastern European countries? Like Czech Republic, Hungary or Balkan Peninsula. I feel like our cultures are so similar, but as everyone's always looking towards west, we are rarely exposed to similarities and differences, beyond just the basics. I feel like doing such cross-country Eastern European culture analysis could be huge. Thanks for great content. Keep it up!

These are skits for small children. An adult does not use vulgarisms in such an amount. This man is weak. He is a comedian like the pope I am.
