This car was brought out like 16 years ago and it still looks like a car that was manufactured like 5-6 years ago. Japanese car designers sure know how to make cars that are ahead of their age both in looks and engineering.

I had a 07 fuckin loved that car! Ran through a puddle with the mazda speed cai and hydro locked it. Dealer changed the oil and said it was good to go, but when i opened the door water came in and got the carpet wet, since one of the computers is under the seat it got wet. The service manager said since the computer got wet if you had any problems going forward mazda might not back the warranty because they have it on file that the computer got wet. So I called my insurance and they wrote it off as a flood car. Gutted! I'm looking for one now through the auction as a project. Picked up a 04 honda accord v6 coupe 6 speed from the auction for $1,500 us 137K miles bank repo as a daily. Going to add a j pipe, and other fun stuff. The speed 6 is a great sleeper with 4 wheel drive, but it got some weight to it. This post was close to my heart! Great job. Live Life Fast Bitches............................................

i miss my mps, i had it running 300ish bhp, and i loved seeing off focus rs mk2 etc...it really, really moved! id love another, but im not sure my pockets would ever allow it again, they are very very heavily reliant on maintenance!
I had 2 mps3’s and loved them. Real sleeper car the mk1, the mk2 was nicer to drive as it was a bit more refined. Great variety in your vids, love the channel

I have a standard one of these, only added a K&N panel filter so far, after 5 years ownership, and it's the absolute bollocks. Very quick car out the box.

Seeing a lot more MPS' being admired recently, I only drive the 3 2.0 sport myself but even that's a majorly underrated car for the price (paid £650 for an 04 with 110k miles) put another 5k on it in 6 months and only an issue with cam belt tensioner, good for insurance compared to 2.0 golfs as well
I love how understated it is. It looks stock and in love it, even got the stock wheels which look great and i hate when people change them out. Only thing I’d say should be added is some window tint.

Great vid Ricky as always loving the variety of cars mazda 3 mps is a proper car it's a car that's very understated but if you no you no st vxr gti and s3 are in it's wake these cars are phenomenal fuel economy power and they are torque monsters if you want one make sure it's an aero that comes with eibach suspension and better looking rear spoilers and wing mirrors

I just bought my MPS 3 1st gen so let's see what we can do about it :D At this moment I did just a little maintenance- new NGK spark plugs, new oil and filter, new mass flow sensor... Can't wait for some tune. I can tell you in this car you must hold your steering wheel tight when you hit the gas :D And this Sunday I will install my new short shift plate. Plenty of big power 6 MPS about. Transfer case caps and a few other bits need changing.
They're a mega car for the money, I had a fully bolted and tuned K04 MPS at around 310bhp and 345ft-lb.. Had it for three and a half years and loved it, 40,000 miles and all I had to change was a couple of drop links.. She's still going strong now at 117k miles. If you look after them they'll look after you.

Ricky nice to see your church is broad and not only rammed with supercars which are nice by the way, My car used to run neat meth with an AEM kit but eventually shortened the life of the engine to about 20k but it was fun in the mean time, I look forward to more Vids like that!

This is about the level I'm going to stop at with my Gen 2 Speed 3 (power and response are inversely proportionate, besides power level can easily overwhelm the chassis/setup). I'm currently at 390/385 @ the wheels, and will be going G25-660 or EFR7163 and tuning for 500whp when I build/track-setup the car for road courses, etc. It's a very fun car, for sure.

While I'm a complete Euro car fan, it's cool to see cars like this, especially with all of the pops and bangs it produces. I'm not sure if you've done one yet, but it would be great to see a well built Scirocco. We can't buy them here in the states. Next time the wife and I are heading to London, it would be cool if we could meet up, rent something fast, and rip the tires off of it😆
