Passed my mod 2 yesterday getting my bike wednesday :), dont worry legit after my test matey I did it with kept stalling and was getting stressed. Everyone starts somewhere you have got alot better though :)
I've had the chicken strip conversation with so many other bikers, the one's who say "ah your just scared to lean the bike more" and encourage others to push to the edge of the tire, don't understand how a bike mechanically works while at a high lean angle. One bump in the road and your going to lowside the bike since the suspension doesn't work sideways. Even on a track bike the goal in any corner is to have the bike be as upright as possible, this allows you to get on the gas sooner in the corner (which actually turns the bike more) and drive the bike out to the exit. So don't worry about having chicken strips on a road bike, some of the fastest road riders I know have strips and don't try to get their knee down an public roads... Save all that for the track
The only ones who care about strips are the ones you see hanging out of a tree or in a bush with the bike 30ft away from them your not on a track your on a road
