The Hyperbreeder better be S tier. I ran Lonesome Road with only the Hyperbreeder and the laser detonator obviously. It annihilated pretty much everything. I had 2 areas where I had problems. 1st one. I walked around a corner and came face to face with a couple of deathclaws, They obviously killed me, but got them after a save reload. The other one was the end fight with Ulysses. It was rough simply because you really don't have enough ammo to deal with everything, but I did make it through.
Hyperbreeder should be S tier. It's without doubt best energy pistol while normal recharger pistol is A tier. Sonic emitters also being in B kinda weird too..
Y’all sleeping on the compliance regulator. It makes all combat situations insanely easy. I killed Ulysses, the giant roboscorpion and cleared quarry junction with it and it was a beeze
CR + crit build = easy win Fun fact: If you have the meltdown perk and kill an enemy that is paralized, all enemies hit by the explosion become paralized as well. Be carefull though as you can paralize yourself too.
The pulse gun is really good for veronicas quest. I usually do the brotherhood option and give her the holotape so she basically gets both perks. Without the pulse gun you need a high speech or the paladins will wreck you unless you cheese it
I feel like that encounter was made for Euclid C-Finder. Just run back a bit after the dialogue ends and let them gang up on Veronica while you charge it up.
Hard disagree with the compliance regulator, it's S tier because it can make any fight trivial with a crit build (even on its own, but especially with any high dmg/dps weapon)
Compliance Regulator combined with any weapon is OP. I like to run it with Pew, Pew or YCS/186 on my current energy commando build. High critical chance and damage (to boost the other weapon) makes it super useful.
The Plasma Defender GRA version became my main weapon for most of my energy weapon playthroughs, especially since i dont like vats builds and prefer going implant chemist slow mo crit energy gunslinger who can tank decently enough. The only thing thats is a complete and utter pain is that you cant map the implant to a key and need to pipboy it. Oh and Hyperbreeder Alpha is probably the most insane energy weapon on a non stealth crit build and melts most of anything.
Oh just finished, Nighstalkers are abominations? I don't remember that since i dont get any challenges about killing them since animal friend works on them and I cant find it in my cold heart to hurt the scaly doggos :C. Want one as a companion in a future game.
The only things I would change would be putting the compliance regulator in B tier and putting Pew Pew in S tier. I agree with your reasoning and in general use, the compliance regular is C tier. I think being able to paralyze lock creatures completely trivialize deathclaws and legendary creatures and that is worth a B tier in my eyes. Pew Pew is absolutely bonkers and deserves to be in S tier. If no perks are taken to boost damage, no critical hits, and no ammo variants used, Pew Pew only does 1 less damage than Medicine Stick against enemies with 2 or more DT. So Pew Pew is equivalent to the second strongest rifle in the game damage wise but also comes with a faster rate of fire, an amazing x2.5 critical hit multiplier, zero skill or strength requirements, has access to DT penetrating ammo, and has much easier access to ammo in general. With Max Charge cells, Pew Pew blows Medicine Stick out of the water in terms of damage against targets with high DT. Against foes with 5DT, Pew Pew with MC cells deals 112.5 damage against Medicine Stick using SWC rounds (112.2) and it just keeps dropping from there. At 15DT, Pew Pew will do 105 damage while Medicine Stick with SWC rounds only does 79.2 (Medicine does only 63 damage with standard rounds so SWC remains the best option at 15DT). S-tier weapon. No competition. Gets even more insane with perks and a critical hit build.
I probably spend most of my time with the Plasma Pistol, unless I decided to do OWB right at the start of a new run, in which case the Sonic Emitter is probably what I use most until I run into the Laser/Plasma Rifles.
I've always said that the problem with the Flare Gun is that you get it way too late in the game. If this was an early weapon, if you could get it back in Goodsprings, it would be so much better. As it is, it's the worst energy weapon. Pulse Gun is not bad, but it's boring. It just skips combat against robots entirely. I play the game for the combat, I don't want an instakill weapon. MF Hyperbreeder is very expensive and it's worth every cap. Great weapon when you get it, it eventually gets outclassed but I still keep it as a side weapon - for weaker enemies that aren't worth my ammo. Should be S tier. I don't like plasma weapons. The slow projectile and spread just doesn't work for me. I make exceptions for the Plasma Caster and the Q-35 and that's it.
MF Hyperbreeder Alpha is S tier for me, I use it to save most of the laser weapon ammo up until late game, and after that I switch to something else when im fully stocked with ammo
I’ve played fnv so many times over and I just now found out that the flare gun scares off deathclaws/ tunnelers. Super useful at lower levels when they can be more of a pain so you can shoot them, watch them run away for a few seconds and then shoot them with something better. Rinse and repeat until they’re dead and they’ll never touch you
I know I'm very late to this but if you run a build with the pyromaniac perk you're more than likely leveled energy weapons as is, and let me tell you: the tarantula sonic emitter gets an INSANE damage buff. it gains 30 more damage and with max or over charge energy cells the Sonic Emitter Tarantula can easily do damage into the 125-130 range. I was blown away because the pyromaniac perk affects it in the way that instead of just buffing the fire critical damage effect, it buffs the base damage and the fire damage, so the pyromaniac perk is extremely beneficial to have with it Edit: the laser commander perk also affects this weapon, meaning even more damage and more crits, and crits often one hit kill lost enemies with this variant of the sonic emitter
Hey, so about the Tarantula upgrade for the sonic emitter. I know the description says it lights enemies on fire, but in my experience it actually makes them spontaneously combust and insta die. I ended up recording a game clip of me one shotting the giant roboscorpion boss at the end of big mountain because i was so confused at how the final boss went from full hp to dead in an instant. Not sure if this is a bug or something, but if not then i think tarantula is probably s tier for any energy build with a lot of crit chance.
The tarantula version is really slept on. It instantly kills and blows up anything it crits - including sneak attacks. And it works with both laser commander AND pyromaniac. Absolute unit of a pistol.
I currently playing through on hardcore with a laser weapons build, my 3 mains are hyperbreeder, laser rifle fully moded, and the gatling laser for funzies.
Hyperbreeder is honestly the only one i really use. For most enemies while running an energy build using your best weapon with max charged cells is a waste. So for the occasional low level bandit or mantis ill pop it out and save up for the big guys.
I've use a lot the Recharger pistol when I played Honest Hearts in Hardcore mode, it's very useful since most of enemies don't have good energy damage resistence
I think the YCS/186 Gauss Rifle and Pew Pew are some of the strongest weapons in the game. They use a ton of ammo, but for sheer damage, I think they are near the top. And since they are energy weapons, you can carry the HyperBreeder as a backup.
The Flare gun is definitely more of a tool than a weapon and at that it's really damn good. Being able to keep Deathclaws and Tunnelers at bay is really handy, it let's you switch to a different weapon while they're fleeing for actual damage. Also it hardly weighs that much anyways.
Unfortunately, the one place I would love to take the Opera Singer sonic pistol is the one place I can't. It's limb dismembering critical hit effect would be idea for fighting ghost people in Dead Money. Alas, no outside weapons can be brought into there. Other than that, I like the basic laser pistol until I get to Vegas and can upgrade to a plasma rifle or something.
You can actually smuggle in the Fist of Rawr by killing him in LR and crafting it after you arrive in DM. It also has bonus damage to limbs, crit damage and crit chance so it's perfect for Ghost people.
As a person who mains demoman and huntsman sniper in TF2, I consider the plasma projectile to be an upside. It's more satisfying to hit projectiles and they're really easy to hit in this game.
interesting thing about the alien blaster, if you revert to some of the earliest builds of the game after release, it was possible to restock your ammo by picking up instanced weapons on the ground.
The base recharger pistol is amazing and I think extremely solid. I personally think its one of the best, it kills most things quickly. It just sucks with multiple STRONG enemies, then instead of multiple magdumps which work well as you have infinite of them and they recharge quick with certain perks, chems and implants, you just get overwhelmed from quickly killing one enem, too slowly to recharge to kill another and getting killed by another enemy.
The Pulse Pistol I’d argue is much more practical than it may sound at first because its bonus damage is unaffected by your Energy Weapons skill or how bad its condition has gotten, it’s useful for any build until it breaks
I'm a little torn on how you rate the flare gun since I realize it only fulfills a specific niche in terms of protecting you from charging Deathclaws but that niche is certainly very much appreciated.
I don't think I've ever made a pure energy weapons build; it's always a secondary thing after guns. It seems like FONV is one of the few entries that put real effort into variety and work into them. However they put even more into guns so that still wins out for me. Also glowing, unsilenced weapons aren't exactly stealthy. I can blow up the world before anyone notices with just Christine's rifle.
Compliance Regulator is an S tier weapon as support, damage is low but basically removes combat from the game lol Sonic Emitter Tarantula is also S due to scaling with Pyromaniac and having a chance to LITERALLY one shot any enemy if it spawns a fire ball
That is fair, the compliance Regulator should be higher because I put the dart gun from fallout 3 in S tier for the same reason. And I forgot all about Tarantula getting a bonus from Pyromaniac.
Absolutely true with the alien blaster. Once you run out on it's unique ammo, it's pretty bad. But with the ammo it's completely busted. Not a good pistol for a prolonged playthrough, but amazing if you just want to finish the game.
The Laser Detonator from Lonesome Road can make it into S tier with a glitch that easily makes it the strongest weapon in the game Equip a weapon with explosive ammo (most likely a Red Glare since you'll get both at around the same time), go into ammo in the Pip-Boy, hotkey the ammo (rockets) to a slot, and use the hotkey to switch to that ammo while holding the Laser Detonator Doing that makes it fire dozens of explosives a second, turning anything to dust instantly with infinite ammo, a ton of durability, and cheap repairs. All at the start of the game if you make a beeline towards the Divide and do the start of Lonesome Road until you get the Laser Detonator Only downsides are accidentally blowing yourself up indoors or in close quarters and having to find the ash piles after they get launched
me: "I think I'm gonna do an energy weapons run this time and get Pew Pew!" me 10 minutes into Goodsprings with the caravan shotgun: "hehe boomstick go boom"
With Euclid's C-Finder I'd say the best use would be when you see an ambush in the distance that hasn't yet detected you, be it NCR, or Legion. Later in the game you pretty much learn all the spots where they can hide and then you can burn them with the power of the sun and grab the loot ^.^
you can use bulk cells for the pulse gun as it only reduces its base damage and not the bonus damage against robots and power armor making it a great measure for its high ammo cost and increases its longevity
Tip for the plasma pistol: it’s best for enemies with low Damage Thresholds. Overcharged ammo can make it do extra damage and penetrate more armor. However the moment you have a plasma rifle you should use that instead. Though I will admit you can sneak this gun into casinos and it will let you chew through anyone that gets in your way so long as they have no armor on.
Hyperbreeder should be S tier, this gun can get you through the whole game no joke, I didn't realize how good it was when I decided to buy it for my companion (turns out they won't use it) then I used it myself and hit myself on the head when I realized how well it outclassed any of my two handed energy weapons. This gun paired with a fully modded Elijahs LAER can get you through any combat situation easily, especially if you invest in the right perks.
Ah, the good old days of Hotkey Ammo Glitching 5mm bullets onto my Alien Blaster for a spaceman build while wearing the space suit from the ghoul quest.
Pew-Pew is the ghetto version of the Alien Blaster. You can get Pew-Pew within two days of leaving Doc Mitchell's house, and that was with resting included since I went Early Bird. One shot to the dome does most anything in. It's certainly a one-tap for any human character and it makes ghouls' and super mutants' heads explode. I recently used a shot on Davison and its companion on the ghoul with the hunting rifle and it did the job both times without fail. A is absolutely correct. It's a situation-specific gun, I really wouldn't draw it on someone if there was more than one guy involved in the conflict. If you miss that first shot or your target tanks it, you need the second.
10 second stun is broken, even more than knock down. If a gun has a 10 second stun it's A tier. The compliance regulator would be a low A tier or B tier at worst because it will kill anything eventually, and the high ammo makes it so it is semi decent at hadling more than one target. Grading it on its own you can argue B tier, as a gun though is A tier. You can land a crit, change to any anything, unload the magazine or get in melee and start hitting, go get a coffee, walk the dog, miss on doing your taxes, go to jail and serve your time, and when you come back the enemy will still be getting up. 10 seconds is a really long time in this game.
The MF Hyperbreeder alpha is like legitimately THE best energy weapon in the game, if you're doing a crit build anyway then you never need any other gun so seeing it not be in S tier left me stunned
I feel like the sonic emitters were intended two be a utility sidearm a la dart gun but then realized it’s gotta be a weapon weapon as well so now it’s straddling 2 niches awkwardly
Me when I realized I forgot to not take wild wasteland at the beginning of the game and miss out on a weapon that will continue to be useful throughout the game, instead getting one with the slowest projectiles and limited ammo :(
Compliance regulator should easily be S tier, yes dps-wise it's kinda crappy but the 10 second long stun (that stacks btw) makes so many fights insanely easy even for non-energy weapons focused builds, I will always pick this up unless i am really dedicated to one weapon/role.
Now, I don’t mean to be that guy, but with the use of a controller, the hotkey ammo glitch solves the Alien blaster ammo problem. To that end, hotkey ammo glitch ammo tier list? The flare gun becomes a carpet bomber.
Tbh, Archimedes II is very, VERY meh. Deals barely enough damage to lower a Deathclaw health (anywhere from 1/3 to 2/3s), only damages in a certain limited, small, circle area (so basically useful only against stationary, slow moving or non-aggro patrolling/wandering enemies), can only shoot it once per day, and can only use it outdoors. Even the game itself acknowledges how underwhelming it is, by having Veronica commenting (if you decide to show it to the Brotherhood during her quest) how it would make anyone wielding it only marginally stronger, and that it's just glorified artillery (and considering Archimedes II deals damage on similar ranges to a rocket launcher or grenade launcher, she's absolutely right). Basically, unless you are dealing with one a tightly packed group of outdoor enemies, and use it as a "tenderizer" to then swoop in and deal with their lowered health, it's a pretty crappy weapon. And even then, you'd just be better kicking things off with a rocket launcher, grenade laucher or fat man. Also, Pew Pew is insane, arguably one of the strongest energy weapons, if you get Laser Commander and have built up a character with high enough crit chance.
Dude compliance is A-S its a very unique piece easy to miss. Stun effect plus the rest of your arsenal is great and well its also hilarious to watch people tip.
Pulse gun is the only energy weapon I've ever used. All of runs have been gun/melee, and the insta kill of the pulse gun makes it a auto include. Especially when trying to be sneaky
Compliance Regulator is S tier for me. The stun lets you kill 2 deathclaws with it simultaniously without getting hurt. It's most effective to pair it with another weapon, so maybe it's not an S tier weapon by itself, but definitely an S tier energy pistol. I just finished lonesome road for the first time, and CR is the only thing that let me kill the Rawr deathclaw. When shit hits the fan, Compliance Regulator has your back. I carry it on every build, and it's the only energy pistol that i use in lategame. There's also Sonic Emitter - Revelation, but CompReg shoots 3x faster meaning it's more reliable with the crits.
it works on pc too, but only if you use a controller, k/m for some reason wont let you set up the hotkey but once you set it up you can go back to k/m if you want and i'll work
Ah yes, the alien blaster shooting BBs. If we’re counting that glitch, then the Lonesome Road laser detonator is the best, with that glitch you can turn it into an unlimited full auto mini nuke launcher.
Oh shoot, missed this video. Was waiting for ot for a Science/Energy build. Throw away idea, but what about a Companion List based around there default weapons?

for pistols i believe the compliance regulator is the best, as a side arm. honestly Small Energy Cells are way too heavy to br carrying a lot. so I usually justcarry between 100 and 200 optimized ones or better yet, Bulk SEC. for max damage pew pew with max SECs
maybe due to my high level entering OWB but sonic emitter was useless as a weapon, didn't realise it was suppossed to be, figured it was a tool useable as a weapon i.e shovel or tire iron. didn't bother trying all settings.
MF Hyperbreeder Alpha is the only gun you need in the entire game- start to end. You can carry only this and nothing else and be fine. With the professional and laser commander it will MELT deathclaws and cazadors in seconds from short to long range. Also, no ammo to worry about. Just take a ton of repair kits. For me it's in a tier all its own over literally every other weapon in the game.

Y’all sleeping on the compliance regulator. It makes all combat situations insanely easy. I killed Ulysses, the giant roboscorpion and cleared quarry junction with it and it was a beeze
CR + crit build = easy win
Fun fact: If you have the meltdown perk and kill an enemy that is paralized, all enemies hit by the explosion become paralized as well.
@Cactus Shaq I don't think you can use it for the followers one because its inside
Hard disagree with the compliance regulator, it's S tier because it can make any fight trivial with a crit build (even on its own, but especially with any high dmg/dps weapon)
Keep them coming dude. I’m really enjoying these. Been on a retro gaming binge lately
if you adjust for the fact that the alien blaster is actually meme tier, that bumps everything up a tier and makes a very agreeable list.
Compliance Regulator combined with any weapon is OP. I like to run it with Pew, Pew or YCS/186 on my current energy commando build.
High critical chance and damage (to boost the other weapon) makes it super useful.
The energy version of “stay back” with shotgun.
But you dont have to waste a perk to have the same effect.
Most op weapon in the game
Please keep these up! They rule.
Thanks!
I found a flaregun in Tale of Two Wastelands and it's extremely useful against centaurs in DC and the deathclaws in Old Olney.
Pulse gun is absolutely amazing when you fight BoS. Two-shoting paladins is so satisfying, all that armour for nothing
I make exceptions for the Plasma Caster and the Q-35 and that's it.
you can get the flare gun easily. and since lonesome road doesnt lock you in the area you can finish the dlc later.
I know pretty much everything about FNV but I still enjoy watching. Keep em coming.
Recharger guns are good af on hardcore, since MF cells weigh a lot
MF Hyperbreeder Alpha is S tier for me, I use it to save most of the laser weapon ammo up until late game, and after that I switch to something else when im fully stocked with ammo
Awesome, I like it quite a bit.
I was blown away because the pyromaniac perk affects it in the way that instead of just buffing the fire critical damage effect, it buffs the base damage and the fire damage, so the pyromaniac perk is extremely beneficial to have with it
Edit: the laser commander perk also affects this weapon, meaning even more damage and more crits, and crits often one hit kill lost enemies with this variant of the sonic emitter
The compliance regulator is so awesome. Esspically againts death claws and really anybody you just wanna put in time out
Im doing the divide right now with the compliance regulator and a crit build. Easy af block and kill deatclaws, tunnelers, everything
I've use a lot the Recharger pistol when I played Honest Hearts in Hardcore mode, it's very useful since most of enemies don't have good energy damage resistence
the hyperbreeder carried me through the entire game flawlessly, you'd be surprised how it melts
"The plasma pistol can also be one of the first laser weapons you find." 😂
Theres a laser pistol in the doctors house in good springs
Given how thorough you are with your tier lists, I would love to see you make some builds.
I think the YCS/186 Gauss Rifle and Pew Pew are some of the strongest weapons in the game. They use a ton of ammo, but for sheer damage, I think they are near the top. And since they are energy weapons, you can carry the HyperBreeder as a backup.
That's my Mandalorian Energy weapons build. Had a tun of fun especially when I got Laser Commander at lvl 22.
I'd be interested in seeing your thoughts on energy rifles as thst really feels like that's where most of the good mid-late game energy weapons are at
I was just imagining a Fallout 4 weapons tier list. Each weapon group takes 17 seconds to organize
The Flare gun is definitely more of a tool than a weapon and at that it's really damn good. Being able to keep Deathclaws and Tunnelers at bay is really handy, it let's you switch to a different weapon while they're fleeing for actual damage. Also it hardly weighs that much anyways.
That is true, it is much better used as a tool then anything else.
I really like the unique version of the recharger pistol, that one is a lot of fun.
"the alien blaster has no spread" - misses every shot on the lakelurk
The Pulse Pistol I’d argue is much more practical than it may sound at first because its bonus damage is unaffected by your Energy Weapons skill or how bad its condition has gotten, it’s useful for any build until it breaks
Euclid’s C finder has to be the funniest way to assassinate Kimball.
Yeah it's amazing for things like that.
I find the Laser Pistol really helpful early on for medium to long range due to no spread.
Compliance Regulator is an S tier weapon as support, damage is low but basically removes combat from the game lol
Sonic Emitter Tarantula is also S due to scaling with Pyromaniac and having a chance to LITERALLY one shot any enemy if it spawns a fire ball
That is fair, the compliance Regulator should be higher because I put the dart gun from fallout 3 in S tier for the same reason. And I forgot all about Tarantula getting a bonus from Pyromaniac.
Babe wake up, Ron just dropped a new Fallout tier list!!!!
I love the plasma defender in early to mid game, and sonic emmiter is fun if you do a crit build with energy weapons.
Yeah the Plasma Defender is pretty awesome.
Absolutely true with the alien blaster.
Once you run out on it's unique ammo, it's pretty bad. But with the ammo it's completely busted.
Not a good pistol for a prolonged playthrough, but amazing if you just want to finish the game.
The Laser Detonator from Lonesome Road can make it into S tier with a glitch that easily makes it the strongest weapon in the game
Equip a weapon with explosive ammo (most likely a Red Glare since you'll get both at around the same time), go into ammo in the Pip-Boy, hotkey the ammo (rockets) to a slot, and use the hotkey to switch to that ammo while holding the Laser Detonator
Doing that makes it fire dozens of explosives a second, turning anything to dust instantly with infinite ammo, a ton of durability, and cheap repairs. All at the start of the game if you make a beeline towards the Divide and do the start of Lonesome Road until you get the Laser Detonator
Only downsides are accidentally blowing yourself up indoors or in close quarters and having to find the ash piles after they get launched
Hyperbreeder not S tier? and Recharger pistol under C tier? come on bruh
The Flare Gun isn't that bad
I use it to kill Oliver Swanick as slow as possible cause I want him to suffer.
Smell that air
me: "I think I'm gonna do an energy weapons run this time and get Pew Pew!"
me 10 minutes into Goodsprings with the caravan shotgun: "hehe boomstick go boom"
With Euclid's C-Finder I'd say the best use would be when you see an ambush in the distance that hasn't yet detected you, be it NCR, or Legion. Later in the game you pretty much learn all the spots where they can hide and then you can burn them with the power of the sun and grab the loot ^.^
Yeah that is probably it's best use case.
you can use bulk cells for the pulse gun as it only reduces its base damage and not the bonus damage against robots and power armor making it a great measure for its high ammo cost and increases its longevity
The recharger pistol was goated with the sauce in the base game. Total vats hog.
You can use the alien blaster for the whole game if you use the ammo hot bar glitch
Pew pew is the Big Iron of laser pistols. It was my trusty side arm when you needed to finish something off.
Malcom Holmes jumpscare 2:24
The MF Hyperbreeder alpha is like legitimately THE best energy weapon in the game, if you're doing a crit build anyway then you never need any other gun so seeing it not be in S tier left me stunned
I feel like the sonic emitters were intended two be a utility sidearm a la dart gun but then realized it’s gotta be a weapon weapon as well so now it’s straddling 2 niches awkwardly
Me when I realized I forgot to not take wild wasteland at the beginning of the game and miss out on a weapon that will continue to be useful throughout the game, instead getting one with the slowest projectiles and limited ammo :(
I've realized now that I have never used the Compliance Regulator. I guess now I know what to do next playthrough
The C Finder is the best way to clear out the Deathclaw Promontory
Finally someone puts Compliance Regulator into C-tier where it belongs, instead of yapping about how it's OP because stun.
I don’t think that it works for consoles though…
@@dannyhernandez265 I play on console. This works on 360
@@ChronoTango I have a ps3… I have no idea how to add mods
If you even can on ps3
@@dannyhernandez265 it’s not a mod, it’s a glitch
@@ChronoTango oh my bad… how do you do it exactly??
The alien blaster has been in all of them except for Tactics and the console one we all made a pact not to speak of.
Yeah I have never played the console fallout game, although I haven't heard anything great about it.
@@ReapeeRon other than Tony Jay being one of the voices in it, of course.
17:17 l had a permadeath run ruined by a deathclaw, so l'll be keeping a flare gun with me at all times from now on.
Also, Pew Pew is insane, arguably one of the strongest energy weapons, if you get Laser Commander and have built up a character with high enough crit chance.
flare gun should be at least C tier maybe D because it's pretty useful throughout lonesome road and its nice to have in certain situations on a hotkey
Imagine a fictional universe where beer and plasma can make any weak idiot a killing machine...
Yeah, imagine... lol
Dude compliance is A-S its a very unique piece easy to miss. Stun effect plus the rest of your arsenal is great and well its also hilarious to watch people tip.
That one should be higher I agree.
At least on ps3 or Xbox 360 you can hotkey glitch a gun to use different ammo, making the alien blaster a little better if you just cheese
it works on pc too, but only if you use a controller, k/m for some reason wont let you set up the hotkey but once you set it up you can go back to k/m if you want and i'll work
@@gmh3 that’s good, I didn’t know that since I’ve never played the game on PC
Ah yes, the alien blaster shooting BBs. If we’re counting that glitch, then the Lonesome Road laser detonator is the best, with that glitch you can turn it into an unlimited full auto mini nuke launcher.
Why do energy weapons have recoil though? There's minute kinetic energy being dispersed from them at best.
Justice for Hyperbreeder
Oh shoot, missed this video. Was waiting for ot for a Science/Energy build.
Throw away idea, but what about a Companion List based around there default weapons?
Doing an Energy weapons run for the first time and the Hyperbreeder is overpowered as fuck even on Very Hard Hardcore mode.
you putting the compliance regulator in C tier is a crime.
I imagine it would be funny if you rerouted power to the C-Finder before entering Freeside then when you finally get there, there's a giant hole across Mick & Ralph's 😂
IIRC there's cut content where it does
The alien blaster isn’t useless if you use a glitch to use alternative ammo like the copious amount of 9mm you should have when you get it
for pistols i believe the compliance regulator is the best, as a side arm. honestly Small Energy Cells are way too heavy to br carrying a lot. so I usually justcarry between 100 and 200 optimized ones or better yet, Bulk SEC.
for max damage pew pew with max SECs
MF Hyperbreeder Alpha is insane, definitely deserves S tier.
maybe due to my high level entering OWB but sonic emitter was useless as a weapon, didn't realise it was suppossed to be, figured it was a tool useable as a weapon i.e shovel or tire iron. didn't bother trying all settings.
It can be good for some jobs but it always feels a bit awkward to me.
If you're built to use it and use the correct upgrades it's only decent at best; if you try to use it on its own it's complete junk.
Pulse gun is unique. Theres only one. Its in vault 34 and only in unpatched new vegas is there an extra. Glitch. Also the Pulse Gun does damage against non robots. It aint great damage, but its something
