I wonder how Girgor's achievements would've looked if not for the series of injuries he had after his insane season in 2017, I bet he would've won a few slams at least. He was unplayable back then.
Dimitrov is an amazing player, he can still win grand slams, I wish he does win a few, or a lot, it's up to him! In the times when Federer's been gone from tournaments, the only player that tenistically has made me stay and watch a game on tv is Dimitrov (don't get me wrong I love watching tennis, I admire the best players, not just Federer and Dimitrov, but I can see the talent). Federer is a big influence in his game, sure, but he has his own shots. I think for extraordinary players like Federer and Dimitrov it must be even more difficult to be focused all game long while producing so many amazing shots, difficult not to get too excited about what just happened and people's reaction, over and over. And that may actually be the reason why they have dropped some matches they had under their belt. They like tennis, and they are human, they loose a little focus from time to time due to their greatness at making plays and shots with such grace and agility no other people have.
I've seen Dimitrov, Goffin, and Basilashvilli pull out early in matches recently. Seems likely these are reactions to the spike protein from the shots they all took. There were others too, like Radacanu at Wimbledon 2021. Notice the lack of media questions. Nothing to see here.
