I think it turned out fine except maybe the top panel for the shoe rack with the pocket holes showing. Should totally flip that top panel so the pocket holes are above (and not visible). A lot of these 'superstitions' or Fengshui recommendations are actually rooted in logic. It's just easier to convince people to adopt them by playing to their concerns (e.g. money/ health). E.g. Keeping your shoes in an enclosed cabinet is probably meant to keep odours from spreading in the room or to remove trip hazards if shoes are just lying around on the floor. There are definitely others like making sure drain holes are covered otherwise money will flow away - more to prevent pests from entering; not having a beam above the sitting position or the bed which is to prevent one from bumping their head into the beam when getting up (the superstition is that it 'suppresses' your energy or creates stress).
Oh thanks! I will probably flip it sometime when I get the chance to fix some of the minor details. Yeah definitely can see the fengshui being rooted in logic lol.
