WARNING: This doesn't apply to convertible models (2003-09). They have a set of hooks on the panel that drop into slots in the door to secure the panel in place. Once the 2 bolts in the handle are undone, just push the panel up and it will slide out of the slots. If you try and pry it out you will wreck your door panel.
Excellent. Not as big a job as I feared. I will not be scared to remove the panel now and change the speakers which keep popping and banging. Thanks very much.
Extremely helpful video, I was able to re-connect a loose wire and now my central locking and drivers electrics are working, A huge thanks goes out to 1aauto!
The driver side window, lock and mirror were not working on my 07 Saab 9-3, using this video I pulled the door cover to find the brown connector on the bottom of the switch pad disconnected. Reconnected it and everything works as it should....thanks for the help!
Could you show how to repair the automatic door locks that fail to operate with the remote? They sound like they are unlocking, yet they fail to unlock. Thanks in advance.
Can you make a video on replacing the whole door!! That is the only video that doesn't exist. I am replacing the whole front driver side door... Thank you!!!
