In this video of the Los Angeles Post Production Group's April in-person meeting we had the pleasure of meeting up at the beautiful ZEISS Cinema Showroom in Sherman Oaks. Director of Cinema Sales, US & Canada, Nick Hayes began with an introduction of ZEISS CinCraft Scenario the real-time tracking system for all environments. He discussed the acquisition of NCAM by ZEISS in the summer of 2023 and gave an overview of the technology. Then he shared a promotional video that showed CinCraft Scenario in action.
Next, he shared the primary applications, key features of both the hardware and the software, he outlined what is needed to track, as well as a brief mention of the software licenses' multiple options. Then he turned it over to product specialist Tanner Grimshaw who lead the demo of CinCraft Scenario showing how the software works including adding the tracking configuration and explaining how it can be applied in various environments. He also showed built-in wizard called the CamBar Offset Assistant to help with setup. Then we saw our subject, the stuffed dalmatian, go from green screen to the raining city streets right before our eyes.
