The dinos are made to look like the ones in the books/movies. Since both of them are based on '90s paleontology, sadly the dinos are not accurately represented.
Guess what they’re not fixing the sizes. If they did that they would have to rewrite and redo the dinosaurs entirely. They have more bugs and problems to deal with than “just sizes”. What will it take for you to understand?

The most complete GIga specimen (Mucpv-Ch1) had something like 4 metters and 6,800kg, the biggest T-rex specimen (Scotty) has 6 metters and more than 10 tons. Giga being bigger than T-rex is just a rough guess by some people based in a BONE FRAGMENT (Mucpv-95) that if there were bigger specimens, they could reach that size but right now there is no evidence to support that.
They actually behave similar to some birds when they size each other up before a fight because when ever a predator sees another in its territory it does it's best to protect its home with getting injured.
To clear things up for people still believing Giga should be taller than rex etc etc, read up on the most recent estimations on Giga. It was fractionally longer than rex, fractionally shorter and a decent amount lighter (up to 2 tonnes). When it come to the biggest theropod, all of the big ones besides Spinosaurus are basically the same size albeit with different builds. 12-13 meters seems to be the upper limit of these big theropods but they were built for different time periods/ regional prey. T.rex hunter large hadrosaurs, Triceratops, Anylosaurus etc and this has a stockier, more brawler build and a crushing bite to deal with heavily armoured prey. Came in handy given the evidence that Rex’s seemed to fight each other frequently and bit each other’s faces by the looks of things. Giga’s were similarly sized but were built to take down sauropods, hence the larger gape, cutting teeth etc to inflict grazing “bleeder” wounds to wear the large, slower sauropods down until they collapsed. Who would win in an actual fight? Who knows, it would and could have never happened. They were both equally impressive carnivores that filled a different niech to one another. T.rex is my personal fav due to nostalgia and the fact I’ve loved it since I was 4 but saying this dinosaur would beat that dinosaur and reallly carrying on is pointless. All this game needs to do is make the Giga the same size as Rexy, have either win 50/50 (which they already do) and then we can all have equally impressive big carnivores in our park to just enjoy. you are full of shit. The smallest estimate from the smallest skelleton found puts it at above 9 tons, which means that the smallest one ever found was still bigger than the average rex. Use your brain you dimwit, they hunted much larger prey, it makes perfect sense to be bigger. And the rex had to deal with armored opponents, that's why it didn't have Sharp teeth like the giga and strongher jaws. Sharp teeth would break under the pressure of it's jaws against bone armor.
the funny thing is that I find the giga so easy to balance in ark but they are just a bunch of retards in regards to balancing. they could make both as strong but one more valuable than the other depending on the situation
The Isle sometimes takes liberties with size, but in terms of the Rex and the Giga, they're the same length but Giga has more mass, so therefore bigger. Play The Isle.
Good gameplay. Thanks. But horribly inaccurate. 1. Giganotosaurus is both slightly taller & longer than a Tyranosaurus. 2. In real world, two top end predators would avoid & not fight. In most cases, one would flee & the other after a brief chase would stop. 3. Game devs should have given pre-determined behavior for 1 dino type vs another instead of the generalized 1-1 boxing match instead with jaws. I've seen your other vids. Ditto. And at slightly different time periods. The closest to a Topend theropod showdown would be: Allosaurus vs Torvosaurus in US/Europe Spinosaurus vs Carcharodontosaurus in North Africa Again in real life, a cheetah runs away from a leopard which again does the same from a lion.
We have nearly complete Tyrannosarus Rex specimens. We have very limited and incomplete Giganotosaurus, Carcardontasaurus and Spinosarus material. Just so everyone knows. Some of these bigger than Tyrannosarus Rex predators have been getting downsized over the last 20 years. From what I can tell. Tyrannosarus Rex was the heaviest and most robust meat eating Theropod that we know of.
Giganotosaurus Mass: 9,300 - 30,000 lbs (Adult) Tyrannosaurus Mass: 9,900 - 31,000 lbs looks like they added the smallest possible version of an adult giga.
I would like to see them fix the size of the trex, its a bit to big compared to the giga, spino, and indominus, trex is the best dinosaur in my opinion, but I would like to see him a big more accurate, like make him a bit smaller

Spinosaurus, Carcharadontosaurus, and Giganotosaurus were confirmed by paleontologists to all be taller than Tyrannosaurus Rex; in fact you can literally google "largest carnivorous dinosaur" and you are guaranteed to get something that isn't T.Rex.

The size difference in the two dinosaurs could be an example of sexual dimorphism. A female trex was estimated to be larger than a male by some researchers, maybe a gigantosaurous female was a lot smaller compared to the males in their species. Chatacters in JW also describe some of the inaccuracies of the dinos in the movie so that could also have decided the size difference between the two dinos.
The fighting could be more realistic, idk if I liked it, they just stare at each other roaring and ocasually attacking. I wish they could add a cinematic fighting style like in the movies.

I think that the sizes should be: •Spino taller and longer than rex. •Indominus taller than spino but shorter •Giga same size as rex but longer •Ceratosaurus is way too big, it should be a lil taller than majungasaurus, right now cerato is the same size as the giga (even though the giga needs a size buff) When the fallen kingdom dlc comes out its going to bring allosaurus and ceratosaurus should be smaller than allo by quite a bit and not the same size. Since they both lived around the same time period and same continents but since allos were bigger than ceratosaurs they would sometimes fight and if im correct the allo was the biggest predator of that time (except for saurophaganax and maybe torvosaurus) so ceratosaurus needs a size nerf.

Giganotosaurus has two arms with 3 fingers each that have stronger muscles than the T-Rex's arm but the biteforce of the T-Rex is larger than Giganotosaurus's bite force, the T-Rex's bite force is 9 tons of pressure and the Giganotosaurus's bite force has 6 tons of pressure. The speed of a T-Rex is 16 mph, the speed of the Giganotosaurus is 30mph.the speed, Giganotosaurus takes the advantage. Giganotosaurus is slightly bigger than T-Rex. In the match, they crawl on the ground to approach each other, but since the Giganotosaurus is bigger than T-Rex, the T-Rex backed up to take cover and gain stamina. So T-Rex went out again, since its slow, it decided to sneak behind the Giganotosaurus, when Giganotosaurus turns its head, its too late, and the bite force of the T-Rex is so strong, it bites the Giganotosaurus's neck, the pressure is too high... Finally the Giganotosaurus died...

No it shouldn't, not even close. T Rex had forward facing eyes, Giga had not evolved that advantage and still had side facing eyes and could not see what was in front of it very well, T Rex had a much larger brain, T Rex has a bite force more than 3 times greater and larger, stronger teeth designed not just to carve flesh but to bite right though bone. T Rex can kill it (and most anything else on land) in one bite and is capable of crushing Giga's skull with ease, and because it was far smarter and could see as well as smell much better, it was probably going to bite first anyways.
I think Giganotosaurus should've win because their teeth is serrated like Carcharodontosaurus: their African cousin used to make blood loss and Giganotosaurus was faster than T-Rex also bigger reaching up to 43ft in length
T Rex had serrated teeth too but more like serrated edges along what would otherwise look like railroad spikes or large bananas as opposed to the thinner, easy to break teeth that Giga had, along with the bite force to cleave right through bone and a neck powerful enough to RIP 300 pound chunks of flesh and bone out of any other animal alive..now THAT will cause rapid blood loss. And even without blood loss from having hunks of flesh and bone torn out of your body, it can crush Giga's skull or snap it's neck just from the bite force, neither of which Giga can do it it, and also given the way Giga's teeth are designed, the bonier parts of T Rex's body (particularly the head and upper neck and shoulder area that it will present to an opponent) will be far less vulnerable to slashing teeth than it's side flesh. Then when you factor in that T Rex has a more muscular overall build (as in generally just stronger) and has much better eyesight and a larger brain (smarter, which makes sense considering how dangerous much of the prey that T Rex hunted was), that just seems like way too many advantages for T Rex.
22steve5150 personally I think that Giga would be more likely to win in a fight. It was a bit longer, about twice as fast, more agile, more skilled, and possibly a more experienced fighter since it had a tougher life style....just my opinion tho

The game is bad in this aspect because the giganot is bigger than the rex and not only that, but the giga hunted the argentinosaurus (I do not remember his scientific name) and therefore he had to have the most powerful bite possible since he did not it's easy to shoot down an adult giant
T rex had a much more powerful bite. T rex hunted large herbivores like Triceratops, and therefore needed it. Giganotosaurus hunted sauropods, which were absolutely enormous. "Therefore he had to have the most powerful bite possible". The conclusion to your logic is wrong. A tremendous bite force does nothing for hunting sauropods. They are simply too large to crush or even wrap one's jaws around. T rex would have starved to death in Giganotosaurus's environment. Giganotosaurus had a weaker bite, but was adapted to inflict slashing and gaping wounds with it's razer-sharp teeth (much like Allosaurus, who also had a weak bite).
The closest and most thorough paleontological records we have from giganotosaurus fossils show a maximum size of around 43 feet with a height of 12 feet at the hips. Same as Rex.
When I first got Giga and Trex, I put them and a bunch of carnivores in a very bushy exhibit, but then giga and trex fought about every 1-2 days, and after 5 days Trex eventually won
Why is the fighting so slow? People who wanna see dinosaurs fight wanna see them brutally tear into each other like the ending of Jurassic World. There's nothing exciting about watching two dinos roar at each other, slowly circle, and then take forever just to bite each other. I was so excited for this game, but it has quite alot of issues
The Giga was both longer and slightly taller than the T-Rex according to all known paleontologist records. The only thing bigger about the T-Rex was bulk. This game made the Giga half the size of the Rex when it should in fact be at least equal in height and several feet longer. The size is alarmingly inaccurate.
Quite literally...if Spino and Giganotosarus where both the right sizes (larger than T.Rex) and still give the T.Rex the damage advantage and the others health advantage and make it awesome...I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE GAME ALREADY. But now I literally refuse
that's very debatable mate, I think the giga's damage matches the damage from the rex against non-armored opponents, or maybe even more. the rex's crushing jaw strenght was evolved to handle armored opponents, that's why the teeth aren't Sharp, they would break. So I give it a 50/50 on that one

Use your brain you dimwit, they hunted much larger prey, it makes perfect sense to be bigger. And the rex had to deal with armored opponents, that's why it didn't have Sharp teeth like the giga and strongher jaws. Sharp teeth would break under the pressure of it's jaws against bone armor.

We have nearly complete Tyrannosarus Rex specimens. We have very limited and incomplete Giganotosaurus, Carcardontasaurus and Spinosarus material. Just so everyone knows. Some of these bigger than Tyrannosarus Rex predators have been getting downsized over the last 20 years.

Tyrannosarus Rex was the heaviest and most robust meat eating Theropod that we know of.

The size difference in the two dinosaurs could be an example of sexual dimorphism. A female trex was estimated to be larger than a male by some researchers, maybe a gigantosaurous female was a lot smaller compared to the males in their species. Chatacters in JW also describe some of the inaccuracies of the dinos in the movie so that could also have decided the size difference between the two dinos.
The fighting could be more realistic, idk if I liked it, they just stare at each other roaring and ocasually attacking. I wish they could add a cinematic fighting style like in the movies.

There has never been found a single Giga specimen bigger than the actual T-rex specimens. The most complete GIga specimen (Mucpv-Ch1) had something like 4 metters and 6,800kg, the biggest T-rex specimen (Scotty) has 6 metters and more than 10 tons.
Giga being bigger than T-rex is just a rough guess by some people based in a BONE FRAGMENT (Mucpv-95) that if there were bigger specimens, they could reach that size but right now there is no evidence to support that.

I think that the sizes should be:
•Spino taller and longer than rex.
•Indominus taller than spino but shorter
•Giga same size as rex but longer
•Ceratosaurus is way too big, it should be a lil taller than majungasaurus, right now cerato is the same size as the giga (even though the giga needs a size buff)
When the fallen kingdom dlc comes out its going to bring allosaurus and ceratosaurus should be smaller than allo by quite a bit and not the same size. Since they both lived around the same time period and same continents but since allos were bigger than ceratosaurs they would sometimes fight and if im correct the allo was the biggest predator of that time (except for saurophaganax and maybe torvosaurus) so ceratosaurus needs a size nerf.

No it shouldn't, not even close. T Rex had forward facing eyes, Giga had not evolved that advantage and still had side facing eyes and could not see what was in front of it very well, T Rex had a much larger brain, T Rex has a bite force more than 3 times greater and larger, stronger teeth designed not just to carve flesh but to bite right though bone. T Rex can kill it (and most anything else on land) in one bite and is capable of crushing Giga's skull with ease, and because it was far smarter and could see as well as smell much better, it was probably going to bite first anyways.
I think Giganotosaurus should've win because their teeth is serrated like Carcharodontosaurus: their African cousin used to make blood loss and Giganotosaurus was faster than T-Rex also bigger reaching up to 43ft in length
T Rex had serrated teeth too but more like serrated edges along what would otherwise look like railroad spikes or large bananas as opposed to the thinner, easy to break teeth that Giga had, along with the bite force to cleave right through bone and a neck powerful enough to RIP 300 pound chunks of flesh and bone out of any other animal alive..now THAT will cause rapid blood loss. And even without blood loss from having hunks of flesh and bone torn out of your body, it can crush Giga's skull or snap it's neck just from the bite force, neither of which Giga can do it it, and also given the way Giga's teeth are designed, the bonier parts of T Rex's body (particularly the head and upper neck and shoulder area that it will present to an opponent) will be far less vulnerable to slashing teeth than it's side flesh. Then when you factor in that T Rex has a more muscular overall build (as in generally just stronger) and has much better eyesight and a larger brain (smarter, which makes sense considering how dangerous much of the prey that T Rex hunted was), that just seems like way too many advantages for T Rex.

T rex had a much more powerful bite. T rex hunted large herbivores like Triceratops, and therefore needed it. Giganotosaurus hunted sauropods, which were absolutely enormous. "Therefore he had to have the most powerful bite possible". The conclusion to your logic is wrong. A tremendous bite force does nothing for hunting sauropods. They are simply too large to crush or even wrap one's jaws around. T rex would have starved to death in Giganotosaurus's environment. Giganotosaurus had a weaker bite, but was adapted to inflict slashing and gaping wounds with it's razer-sharp teeth (much like Allosaurus, who also had a weak bite).

The Giga was both longer and slightly taller than the T-Rex according to all known paleontologist records. The only thing bigger about the T-Rex was bulk. This game made the Giga half the size of the Rex when it should in fact be at least equal in height and several feet longer. The size is alarmingly inaccurate.
