Excellent talk. As an oncologist with 20 years experience caring for people with cancer, I agree wholeheartedly with the premise of this talk. People want a simple answer, but healing disease is often complex and almost always multi-factorial. I love that you are sharing this perspective and your story of personal healing. I am sorry that you were censored, but it is not surprising. The powers that be want people to go to the doctor and take a pill. If we all started doing what you recommend, illness would decrease dramatically. The system is banking on us staying sick. It is sad, but true. Keep going. Keep speaking your truth. I am cheering for you.

Min 11 onwards shows so much how specialists look at a problem as a separated issue, without looking at the entire body as a whole. Great, great example that health must be looked in a completely different way from what we know as humanity. Time to re-learn what we know. Great, great talk! Thank you Lauren for making it!

Absolutely true! Not yet been taught that much at the Universities, but this knowledge is spreading. Thanks to talks like this!!!

Stories and experiences like yours Lauren should be shown as great examples in medical schools and used by doctors to give them as option to parents, not an alternative but as equally valid option to oral drugs. Shame TEDx havent publish your talk too! Its time organisations like TEDx and hospitals to open their mind. As you said - we are disconnected from our body

A brilliant presentation that offers hope and choice to anyone suffering from any disease. Lauren's story of her journey from chronic disability to wholeness and health is inspiring! It offers a comprehensive cornucopia of avenues to explore for anyone seeking a way to restore their health. Lauren is a shining example of how we do not have to take another 'expert's' view on our illnesses but to be the seeker, the researcher and, above all, the 'listener' to our own body's messages of what it needs to restore balance and health on an holistic level. Thank you, Lauren, for sharing your moving and inspirational story! And well done for not feeling any loss in TED TALK's rejection of giving you a platform. I am sure nothing will stop your message from reaching all those who need to hear it - without Ted Talk's platform.
