Part 2 of my previous long comment cause apparently I can't shut up about Hwabyul today 😂. We all know that because of their rough relationships with Solar in the beginning, Moonbyul was the one who really took care of the maknaes. Hwasa & Wheein were really young when they all met as trainees. Between the love and protection Byul showed for her and her best friend during a hard time in their lives and Byul's natural playful & flirty personality, it's not hard to see why Hwasa might have fallen for her. The loving & caring unnie stuff can be taken as sisterly love, but that originally made Byul a meaningful safe space for them. And then adding onto the flirting stuff when she's still a teenager, a crush can easily develop over time. I think Moonbyul had a much bigger place in Hwasa's heart than even she realized and it took a while for that to come to light to everyone. And whether it turned into romantic feelings or if she's just a special person in Hwasa's life without romantic feeling, jealously is inevitable. You don't want someone you love doing stuff with other people right in front of you. You want to be the center of their attention. It's a little childish to feel that way, but we can't help it. And she'll get jealous over Wheein giving other people attention too cause that's her best friend. So when Wheebyul are playing around with each other, that's Hwasa's ultimate jealously trigger. She's fighting over her best friend & favorite unnie / possible crush's attention. And I'm sure since the maknaes were both closer to Moonbyul, they fought over their unnie like little kids during the pre-debut / debut days a lot. It's like a competition between siblings over who is loved the most 😂.
Well Moonbyul did say on the recent SMN with StayC that she gets jealous and she likes girls who get jealous a lot..............................................Makes me think of how Byul was laughing when Hwasa brought up the don't make Hwasa's personality type jealous thing and when she asked Hwasa if she made her jealous (in the group's car vlive). Maybe she originally liked the thought of making Hwasa jealous, but then realized it was making Hwasa upset. So she still teases her at times like on the phone when Hwasa called for her birthday and Byul was saying she was having a birthday party with a small group of people and laughing when Hwasa said she was betrayed by not being invited, instead of immediately saying she was filming for SMN (but she told her it was for SMN after that). However, Byul tries to dial back a bit like when Hwasa asks who she's with cause she doesn't want her to actually get upset. It can be fun to tease that the other person is jealous over you a bit, but she doesn't want to send her the wrong message. We all know that even though Hwasa denied it in the car vlive, she can get pretty jealous. We've seen it a lot. I think it's good that Hwasa said that cause the hamster is really naturally flirty with everyone and a tease about things. Now she's much more attentive to making sure it doesn't go too far when she senses Hwasa is being serious and calling to check up on her more when they're busy with solo schedules so Hwasa knows she cares. *It makes me think of this song from 1 of my favorite Hwabyul edits (th-cam.com/video/VoZZHwJFTWI/w-d-xo.html). I think Hwasa was into the flirting game at first. Maybe cause she likes being flirty too or maybe it was a tool to get Moonbyul's attention. Maybe both. She might've thought that Byul liked Solar and maybe Byul did a little in the beginning. Hwasa takes it to heart cause she really likes Moonbyul, but it's hard to try when Byul is always flirty with everyone. Then Hwasa just gets upset thinking she doesn't feel the same way and Byul thinks it's just a fun game between them. But Byul does care, she's just naturally like that and doesn't take it too seriously except when she's really flirting for real. Hwasa doesn't want to play games and wonder. She wants to either be serious about it or let it go now to protect her heart. Byul gets that she might have taken things too far and hurt her unintentionally (especially if she didn't realize when Hwasa started liking her and she didn't realize her feelings for Hwasa till much later than when Hwasa started liking her). Now she's making up for it. *Jealously can be used as a tool to figure out if someone really likes you or not, but it can backfire if it makes the other person think you like someone else or just aren't serious when you flirt with them cause you flirt with everyone. *This is all speculation / analysis from what we've seen, assuming we're correct about them liking each other obviously. I'm not claiming any of this as fact. Only speculation. I'm not putting this on them. Just things that came to my mind as a possibility 😂.
Part 3 (Update): Now on Moonbyul’s Vlive she said rather than jealous, she likes someone who is clingy. Which is funny cause before she said she didn’t like clingy people. I wonder what’s going on with that 😂.
