Girl even with unlimited money I will always try to drift or buy market place . I am a big fan of giving things a second chance take them off landfills . Whatever I don’t longer need that has not way to be salvaged like wood we burn so it doesn’t sit in a landfill.

The table turned out so well. I have recently started using a dropcloth for a tablecloth. It has that “linen” look for less than $10! And if something gets spilled on it, it doesn’t really matter. Love, love what you do! For easy, changeable framed Christmas pictures I use Christmas gift box tops. I slip them over my already framed pictures. The box tops sometimes have the same theme. If you put 4 tops over a large framed picture it looks pretty cute!
Great ideas ..When my children were little I let them decorate the tree anyway they wanted too and they wanted colored lights and when the graduated highschool and moved out I did the tree the way I wanted to buy I let my kids be part of the whole tradition as I did when I was little and wanted to pass that down as a family tradition and they are grown now and that's what they remember and talk about and my son does the same for his 2 little boys..
FIA! Please make a video of your kitchen glow up- we are in the process of figuring out what we want for our kitchen renovation. We live in an old brownstone in NYC and the kitchen is small so any advice on must haves or what you realized was not necessary during a renovation would be greatly appreciated!

Great tips! For a tree skirt, there's no need to cut a hole in the middle of fabric-- just puddle the rectangle around the tree, tucking and fluffing as you go. Then you still have a nice piece of fabric to use as tablecloth some other occasion.

Ohh how beautiful…..that’s one thing I miss- thrift stores. Living in Singapore EVERYTHING is super expensive….so ribbon and bells from India have been my go to.
Such a smart way to live. I admire ppl who shop at Thrift stores. I tell those starting out to do the same. Unfortunately, I donate a lot of nice stuff at this stage of my life. But, I’m handicapped & my leg strength is limited. So, I don’t want to shop at this stage. Plus, I am trying to downsize. But, so smart & beautiful. Wish I could do it over.
I’ve seen tree collars that come in pieces that link together to put away easy. I stack wreaths inside mine, use a trash bag and then put the whole thing in my storage room.
