I just recently searched up "can i use pedals with amplitube" and this came up. I also saw that it came out 15 hours ago. What a coincidence. Thank you.

=D A good coincidence I assume. I hope this answered your questions. I have done more videos on amplitube so those might be of an assistance if you're getting in to it and do ask if something comes up and I'll see if I can help. Have fun and rock on!

@@dewil7313 Hi, I would like to get a digital pedalboard that is compatible/that I can use with amplitube, without necessarily being a Multimedia K product, do you say that the Valeton GP200 pedalboard is compatible with Amplitube? They say it has a MIDI output and in theory it should work.

i thought you were going to go through FX Sends & Returns..
what if i want to use a pedal at the middle of the signal chain ? let’s say.. a pitch shifter, or chorus/vibrato.
for eg .. Signal chain :
-> Compressor and booster in AT5 , -> OUT to the external physical pedals, -> back IN to AT5 for the Amp/Cab, delay, reverb .
    cheers ;)

Yeah I just go straight to my pedals and then to a interface input here. You can do that but you'd need to run two instances of amplitube (or a channel with desired effects for comp and bppst). I would run the channel with just the amplitubes compressor and booster engaged to my hardware pedals and then back to my interface from those to another channel with another ampitube with the amp cab and other stuff. One thing to pay attention to is to not create a feedback loop. But yeah that is totally doable with some routing. You ofc need an interface with multiple outputs and inputs. I hope that answers your question. I might make a video of this and do some weird stuff just for fun. I'll add a link here if I do ;) Thanks.

@@dewil7313 yeah, thanks for the reply. ;)
I've got an interface with Inserts I/O too, so im gonna try out some scenarios, when i can. I'll return here, if I come up with anything other than what you suggested..as it is the route I was thinking about too.
      Cheers ;)

Should this work with a Ditto looper pedal aswell? I got my volume pedal to work the way you showed, but not my looper

    • @dewil7313
      @dewil7313  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Can't say I would assume the loop you play to it would go into amplitube. I have no looper so I can't test it out. Amplitube ofc has that built in looper thing you can use and inside a daw You can always loop. I am curious now tho and I might try to loan a looper.

Nice I was curious do you have your Amplitube connected to Midi . I have tried connecting to Voodoo lab Ground Conreol and a FCB 1010 and I can't get Amplitube even with AXE i/o to see the midi pedals.

I do a self made arduino controller, I have a video about my setup th-cam.com/video/k2NthWOrQIU/w-d-xo.html
I think both of those should work. Unfortunately I can't test it myself since I don't have the gear. I just run my controller straight to my lap top with an USB cable, and I can choose to amplitube to see just that one. So they don't show up on the amplitube midi devices drop down menu? I am actually just getting started on the videos, I have an video coming up about using my real amp with amplitubes fx and some stereo setups and all that fun.

@@dewil7313 I actually already hook up my Amplitube to my Marshall code 50. I turn off the Amp Cab and effects etc. I run a cable from the out puts of my Axe i/o in the back to my input on the amp. It does sound more like a amp. With the amp and etc off it's much like a dry audio interface plugged into a computer. It adds a lot of depth with that set up. I tried connect a 32 band eq before going to the amp but it added a bit of harshness to the sound. I suppose if I would take the time to tweak it. But it really doesn't need it. I have tried adding pedals to the from before but that was Amplitube 4. I really didn't like the sound. I will have to try on 5. I am trying to get these midi pedals going. I have noticed some the midi pedals dont have any videos to Amplitube.Therec are so many midi pedals out there and they are a pain in the arse without expertise Keep up the videos you will build a channel. Can't wait to see the next one

@@timkilpatrick.1167 That sounds like a nice setup. I did have that new 20w Marshall DSL and the harsh sound on that was around 4.7k if I remember correctly. It could also have been the element I was using with it, and some of it I could get away with by microphone placement. But I did always EQ that buzz away. That was a rocking amp. I hope you get those midis working, they indeed can be a hassle. Do they show up if you use a daw and have them connected to the AXE io? One thing I am going to update on the DIY controller is sending midi program changes, but that might take a while since coding is not a priority =D Thanks for the kind words.

Can you run two channels into your interface? That way you can have like a clean channel with a chorus pedal then switch it back to your big muff and compressor and flanger?
