Super mega pro tip! You can avoid major sliding out by dropping engine revs with braking and thus dropping the gear faster and catching up immediately. If you use revs dashboard with openplanet - it’s just breaking until you enter the yelow zone on your revs gauge.

At 6:32 you say that you cannot shift up after choosing lower gear. Are you sure? I think I actually often shifted up during ice slides.

At least i myself didn't slid out yet :D. And you can shift up during an ice slides, especially if there is an ice slope. Best way to avoid random slides is try not to oversteer and most of the time you'll keep the grip.

Bro im playing the 25th Map of Fall 2020 and there´s a 180° turn (super close with trees next to it) and an immediate 90° turn with Boosters down afterwards, but the first entrance is the hardest becuase i cannot hit the Angle and dont have enough time correcting it... And the Map has directional Jump Shortcuts which are AIDS (Edit: Jump Shortcuts)

You can shift up while ice sliding,if your angle is less than 90 degrees. It can be so settle(like 80-85 degrees) that you dont even notice.

For the brake inputs, does it work when you press the arrow key down
the dashboard takes the cars movements instead of your inputs, so it's an in-game problem no matter which input you press

Using camera 1 on ice is almost necessary in case of seeing where you go. Its binded numpad 1 in default
