Another lovely vlog Rachel, ai enjoyed your walk. I live just outside of Edinburgh, great that you could see Arthur's seat on your walk. The trees are beautiful colours just now. You basket bags are lovely xx
Enjoyed the walk Rachael! Good idea to get Joshua interested in helping cook and try different meals! The baskets are so pretty! Take care it looks nice and cozy in your living room.
Oh such a lovely episode Rachael- thank you so very much for all your hard work in making your vlogs so enjoyable ❤ I especially loved your walk and the beautiful views of Fife ( I so enjoyed our visit there) . I think that the Public Footpaths that you have in the UK are absolutely brilliant- such a lovely way of getting from one place to another 😊
I always enjoy your vlogs. Full of lots of interesting bits and pieces. So nice and relaxing to watch. I prefer the weekly vlogtobers which give me a chance to sit down with a cuppa and relax. Love your collection of fabrics. So pretty. ❤
Thank you. I find it hard to jump about with shorter daily vlogs too (in terms of watching, but also in terms of making them!), but it’s nice to make a video of a week or so’s content and always nice for me to watch back at a later date too. (I’ve just been watching mine from a year ago to see what I was up to 😃).
Absolutely LOVE your landscape & nature scenes with all the lovely flowers, twigs, weeds etc. your photography skills are excellent with all other homey scenes!!! ❤ from MS in USA
I have really been enjoying your vlogs. I am not very good at leaving comments but I really do enjoy watching. I love seeing the palace in all the different seasons. I hope to get to visit it again one day.
Hi Rachel, this the first time I watch your blogs , I’m from New Jersey (USA) it is so delighted to see all the beautiful things you do , you are very inspirational and also a very talented. I really love the basket you made for your friend , the one with the polkadots ,are you planning on making more? Please let me know so I can purchase one from your shop… Thank you 😍
Ljross is great. I've listened (audible) to all of her books (started Jun 23) Each book is a standalone story but there is a continuous underline background base story. Enjoy
what i do for stains on my clothing like that is old fashioned but it works. I mix baking soda or powdered laundry detergent, with water and basically simmer it on stove for about 40 minutes with clothes in it. It will smell of detergent for a bit but It works for me. And then just throw it in washing machine. I find washing machine is not hot enough to take stuff out like that and make it white again.
Oh Paula.... i just came in from a lovely dog walk in the cold crisp day and made a cuppa to sit down to this video, its such a beautiful video, made me tear up, all the hard work you both put into it... ❤
Hi! Your channel popped up in my suggestions, so I checked it out! I'm enjoying your wide variety of interests! Ive subscribed and look forward to spending time with you! You're like a breath of fresh air! Love your polka dotted project bag! ( I love all things polka dot!) I knit, crochet and walk in my spare time. I also love spending time in my cozy kitchen, especially in fall/ winter. We're in Northern Lower Michigan, USA.
Lovely autumn colours with you. Everything is just to soggy down here. Am up your way at the end of the month for a family event but am hoping to get up the hill. Let’s hope for some pretty autumnal days.
Rachel great combo vlog loved the walk kept thinking my dogs would love that trail LjRoss I’ve listened on audible to a few they are good stand alone stories only the main characters link each book I’m sure you could read without spoiling any future story Apple pressing was interesting how it was done was it sweet enough?
Hi Sue, the apples had been picked and stored by variety, so the first pressings were pleasant, and the very end one, because of the variety was pretty tart!
I got the L J Ross books as audio books from the library (on my phone/tablet). The narration was good, and I don't think they were too long. Each book is a separate story, although obviously the characters move through the series, and their lives change as a result of things that happen. I think it's Book 4 is an official prequel to all the stories, which is a bit confusing, and I think I actually read book 2 first, but it made me want go through them in order.
That does sound confusing but I think I’m going to have to start right at the beginning ☺️. It’s exciting to have another author I will hopefully enjoy.
I think those books are stand alone stories it's just the characters are used in in previous books, but if you read this one just carry on from there. With my IBS I have to avoid skin on apples and when it's at it's worst, grains too. I couldn't find any neeedle tins when I looked on the site last week.
I really wanted to try Gousto but they dont deliver to an IV postcode. Its ridiculous the amount of companies that refuse to deliver to us, we are in north east Scotland, hardly the back of beyond! Rant over 😅
Oh that’s frustrating. But I’m in Fife and my box came via Dundee. I don’t seem to get my deliveries until 8/9pm so I suppose they wouldn’t be able to reach you with the food still being fresh I guess.
That’s a good question 🤔. I wouldn’t have necessarily thought it would be for cabbage specifically, but I know things that attract pollinators are useful as the pollinators then eat other bugs (ones that would attack the main crop). But these were just on a small corner so I wouldn’t think that was the case here. I did find the odd one or 2 chamomile on the edges of other fields on my walk so it’s nice to think they’ve self seeded wherever they liked 😀
Hello! I recently found Dr Beckmann glow white stain remover in Lidl (but you can get it online). It seemed to do the trick perking up my sheets which looked a bit dull. Lovely video thank you. Also just seen the same brand makes a stain remover especially for deodorant stains. Good luck!
Another lovely vlog. Such beautiful scenery outside. Fall colors are stunning! Enjoyed your chat!!❤😊
Love the colours of your blanket, I'd have never thought to put them together but they've come together so nicely! 🍁🍂
I stood in the yarn shop moving balls of yarn around for ages 😂

Really enjoyed all the content. Was busy making a little ghost quilt to go with the book. Quite fun. Good to sew along to. Thank you 🎉
I read the entire Elly Griffiths Ruth Galloway series this summer. So well written. Loved it. Thank you for a lovely podcast.
Wow that’s a lot to get through! I’ve got the next book ordered from the library so hopefully will get it next week 🤞🏼

Oh thank you. I tend to always wash at 30 degrees so maybe not hot enough in the washing machine but I could give this a go 🤞🏼
Ooh I do love a sewing room tour! Look forward to watching it x
I love to save you up as well 🥰. I enjoyed spending this evening with you xx
🥰 thank you 💝

Hi, I also suffer with ibs,
And apples can flare mine up,so very rarely eat them now.
Hope you feel better soon,
I wish I could pinpoint the foods that make it worse but can’t figure it out. It’s definitely worse when I’m stressed or anxious though 😞.
@@SewraymeUk yes stress will be another factor.
If I get a bad flare up I take paracetamol and use a heat pack.
Love your cosy channel.
Thanks so much!
Well done Joshua, your dinner looked delicious 😋
This may sound a bit bonkers, but I pre-soak my whites in Napisan before putting them in the washing machine.
Not a bad idea!
Rachel great combo vlog loved the walk kept thinking my dogs would love that trail

Is Camomile a companion plant do you know?. We have an Arthurs seat here in Melbourne😀

Is there a pattern available to purchase for the lovely project bags that you make? X
