Great podcast Another way to finish off your shorty socks is to do a fold over edge with a contrast color to line the inside and bind it off along with a picked up stitch at the base of the cuff. A fun little pop of color
Love the colour of your Henley and your Ranunculus. Both look super on you. I am coming over to Dublin in 2 weeks time from the UK if you need any yarn brought over…. Love your podcasts.
The colour of the courage Henley yarn is soooo beautiful against your skin tone/hair very good choice! Love hearing updates on your projects and great podcast! Xx
Don't stop working on your sweet shop blanket! I was working on crochet battenburg blanket which I loved at the start but got burned out on, and it's now been sitting untouched in my WIP pile for 2+ years and I'm not convined it will ever get finished. Power through!!!
Oh believe me, I know if I put it down I’ll never pick it up again 😂 since uploading this I think I’ve gotten a second wind, I’m certain I’ll finish it in the next 2-3 weeks 💪🏻
I love your podcast so much! It's great to hear other Irish knitters talk about their projects. I too am looking forward to cooler weather post-heatwave 😄 Your Rivendell mods have turned out so well, that cardigan is stunning!
Hi Michaela, loving your podcast! I am actually waiting for Highline Henley sweater to be released, and your version looks very beautiful. I would love to try heavy merino. Regarding tubular ind off and set up rows, I think they are done to kind of bring the edge together, and add elastisity + thickness. I tried both with set up rows and without, and I think i prefer with the set up rows. Looking forward to your new epsidoes!
Michaela, I havent finished your podcast yet but I just wanted to say I am also a pole dancer/ fiber artist who works in STEM (although in engineering)! There are dozens of us LOL. No wonder i enjoy your content so much :)
i personally prefer the tubular bind off without the setup rows or at most doing just 2 setup rows. i know if you do 4 set up rows it makes a really rounded edge but for me personally, i find it looks a bit bulky.
Hi, great podcast. It,s nice to see that there are other knitters in Dublin 🙂 I was wondering what shop do you order Sandnes Garn and Filcolana from? I want to find a good stockist since I love those two brands. Happy knitting!
Thank you! ☺️ I actually got the Sandnes Garn in person in Stockholm, BUT This Is Knit have just announced that they’ll be stocking some Sandnes Garn 🥳 and I recommend a German shop called WollTraum for Filcolana, and they also stock Sandnes Garn! I linked their website in the description box of episode 9 ☺️
Hi! I have had so many people ask me this, I’m thinking I should make a spreadsheet or some kind of resource for it 🤔 I get KFO directly from their website, and for Sandnes Garn and Filcolana I recommend a German shop called WollTraum - their website is linked in my episode 9 description box. This Is Knit have also started stocking a few lines of Sandnes Garn 🥳
Hi! Can you tell me the recommended gauge for the Courage Henley? I love it and would like to start planning my yarn choice. Thanks! ☺️ Christina Portland, Oregon
I really love how your Rivendell is turning out! I think the work you put in, to modify the shoulders is sooooo great!😍
Thank you so much! ☺️

Knitting scientists unite!!! I love your test for Tori, it's stunning and the colour is amazing on you!!! Lovely podcast!!!!
Aw I love it!👩🔬 thank you ☺️
I love knitting short row heels in garter, hides any of those loose stitches 😊. Love seeing your projects, a Henley may be on deck for me next.
Oooh in garter? I might add that to my list to try! Thank you!

Yeah I’ve heard of people doing 4 or even 6 set up rows! I’ll have to try it some time but for now I’m happy with 2 😅
