The Peugeot 307/2 liter is one of the best cars in France in terms of engine rigidity
I have a 2001 2ltr hdi one of these, the car is 20 years old now(not many cars make it to that and it's used every day) have had to change clutch, starter, alternator and brake discs all round, starts every time and never let's me down, hopefully I'll have this car I another 10 years and the body work is perfect!!

I got it, but i dont have it anymore. I loved it, drove good! But check it out with someone who knows care before! Its not that big!

Sadly my 307 hdi one month shy of 20 year's old for some reason went on fire around the engine. Really loved this car
Did you find out why? And will you be fixing it?
Insurance never investigated it, so I'm not sure what happened to it, sadly it was written off and not fixed. I really loved that 307 but she came to the end of her day. 😩
Nice review thinking of buying it as a second car. More impressive is that you recorded this on a Galaxy S3!
Go for it, buy the earlier model before the upgrade in 06, 20ltr hdi better engine.
Great car, was years ahead of the competition in terms of styling and especially equipment- think about the electric folding door mirrors! They only gained popularity in the 2010's, and still often found as only an option on some new cars today.
Mr Tahwid: I agree the car is well equipped (for her time and size) . I've got one now, a 307 1,6 bioflex - 08 (not diesel, not sw). 109 hp, I think it is. It's pleasant and easy to drive but there are no electric folding door mirrors on mine. What model do you have?
I drive the entry level car. 1.4 diesel 5 speed manual. It is a really nice car, although it is slow as hell. The 70 horses fell tired to carry such an heavy car (considering that this engine was designed for the 207 wich is way lighter). But it is really comfortable (for its age) and is pretty much still 'in style' with almost all the cars in my country 😂
Oh, and I forgot, the car is really spacious and the boot can carry a lot of stuff!!

Im thinking of getting a 2003 model in red 2.0 hdi do the have dpf on 2003 model
I have one from 2003 , just bought it, fault with the signal relay, fault with indicating petrol, remote doesent work where can i find the signal relay to replace it? And also signaling doesent cancel itself when you turn the wheel , how do i fix this

Sounds like it needed a DMF with the engine noise
The 90ps models did not have DMF

thinking about getting the 2003 model
I bought a SH one from 2003. I got it recently with 150000 km, the version with HDi 2.0 110 hp. It is a really great car if you find one that was well taken care of and with decent amount of kms.
why it turns off ?

i have the sam car. but the engene is not sound like yours. you have problems with engene

That squeak - is annoying on my car now especially when car is cold and I lift the clutch, super squeak follows.

Das Cabrio finde ich schrecklich, aber rein vom äußeren her würde ich den dem 4er Golf als erstes Auto vorziehen. In schwarz und mit ein paar 17-Zöllern sieht der schick aus.
