Wow. You SAVED me. So my Glowforge is sick and has to be replaced, so while I was waiting for my new one, I decided to clean it to practice taking it apart. I did great until I had to put the belt back on. I tried everything and then I stopped because I was worried I would crack the wheel. Then I found your video. ❤THANK YOU!!! Why WHY doesn't Glowforge TELL US THIS?! I mean that took 2 seconds!!! Makes me wonder.......🤔

Just recently I’ve noticed I’ve been having the same charring shading. I checked my belt while watching your video and sure enough it was loose. I’m so grateful for you, Lisa. ❤
I’m having this weird issue where my engraving looks fuzzy. Like it’s skipping lines, I can’t seem to find anyone who else has had the issues on TH-cam…any chance you’ve experienced anything like that?

What size is the wrench to loosen the right pully?

How did you move the right pulley to bring it closer? I’m using the 3m hex & it’s barely moving.
The first time I did it, I had to use a LOT of elbow grease!

It's possible that this is due to your file type. Are you using a png/jpeg or an svg?
@@LisaPottsDesigns using SVG, and one I've engraved/cut many times. It's super strange.
