Very helpful content, boss -- I also see you reply to all your comments, regardless if they're good comments or MEMA lang. Hahahaha. I'm saving up to buy a Gen 1 soon. In our local buy & sell groups, the AT variant seems to be more affordable than manual ones. I really want to get an AT, but I'm wary of a 20+ year old Automatic Transmission, regardless of the mileage. Can you talk more on this topic, please? Things to look out for when getting a Gen 1 AT, its maintenance & upkeep cost, and the possible costs if you happen to buy a batttered automatic transmission. Hope you find the time to respond and hope you can make some quality content on this. Thank you in advance, and ingat po lagi!
Salamat sa lengthy comment boss. In my opinion, lahat nag vavary sa mileage ng vehicle itself. Kahit AT yan, basta maliit pa ang tinakbo, transmission parts are still intact. Provided na inalagaan ng owner yung engine as a whole. Yes dadating sa point na aabutan ka ng maintenance, pero tingin ko kasama yan in owning an old vehicle. I've owned vehicles na may 30 years na, AT pero I never had issues when it comes to its tranny. I'll try to do a video about it boss para we can further discuss this. Salamat sa panonood!

Unang indication is mileage. The higher the mileage, the higher probability na may issue ito. Silip din sa oilcap to check yung head and tappets if maputi pa and hindi namumula

It depends on what type of build yung plan niyo. Pero usually its either Performa or Fullmark lang naman yan. Parts are still not that hard to find but medyo mataas ang prices nito. I can help you with the parts if you'll be pushing with your build soon 🙂

One of the reason why we check the number of owners is due to the fact na baka po mahal masiyado upkeep ng sasakyan so maybe madami na talaga siyang sira and napa patch up lang kaya nabibili padin but in the long run dun mararamdaman ng owner yung mga sira so binebenta na lang. Honda crv gen 1 is one of the good looking classic cars out there so unless the upkeep is too expensive, I would personally keep this car until it breaks down on me. Just saying.
Case to case basis in my opinion. If we are concious about the value and the figure, mas magandang itago na lang. But sometimes you have to gamble din. Lalo na ngayon, there arent crv gen 1s out there that are in pristine or shall we say fresh condition, so yan sa tingin ko ang isa sa things to consider.

Better get a local unit in my opinion.
BudTV, most importantly sir yung asking price ng seller. Paano Sir i-assess kung yung asking price niya is enough or higher than the actual assessment niyo po. Also, next question is: now that you have assessed the actual unit, may idea ka na po ba kung magkano pa ang aabutin just in case ibuild mo yung car? Salamat po Sir. :D
Based sa experience ko, once mag build ka na ng car, malabong malabo makapagset ng budget amount sa project mo. Meron chances na along the way, you come across unexpected issues that needs immidiate resolutions. If you want the build to be a success, you have to set the timeframe, and not the budget.

Possible na sira na din ang ang iacv. Meron pang isang possible reason na ginagawa kami and thst involves the intake manifold. We can check and clean it and see if mas ok siya sa dat 🙂

@@guesswho4469 Nabili mo na siya boss eh, ok na yan. Pero in the future, iwasan mo kumuha ng sasakyan na masyado mataas ang mileage. Isa yan sa mga natutunan ko. Hindi mo pwede madaliin ang pagkuha ng sasakyan. Maraming low mileage, pero kailangan mo maging patient.

@@kamcelltvammanjordan3390 pinaka maganda dyan, bili ka ng CEL scanner, mura lang naman yun para makuha mo yung trouble code. Hindi ibig sabihin na walang problema manakbo, eh wala na siyang issue. Pag may OBD scanner ka, mas madali ma-pinpoint ang issue.
